“Extraordinary Hosts!!!”

Absolutely incredible hosts! Nothing was too much trouble - super range of coffees, teas, fresh fruit, sherry and a local cheese and meat platter was a wonderful touch. Fantastic beds, linen, furniture all well thought out and carefully curated. A log fireplace was a welcome respite from the freezing Nov weather. In summer it must be gorgeous as there is a lovely outdoor area with a jacuzzi and cute herb garden. This was the most comfortable accommodation by far that we had throughout our stay in Croatia 🇭🇷 after many, many disappointing bookings. Very peaceful and secluded. We were only there for a night so didn't get a chance to explore the surrounding countryside, but looked like a good bolthole.

Beautiful location in the mountains. First class house.. Everything you need is provided. The hosts were very nice, hospitable and helpful. We came to ride enduro motorcycles - there are plenty of great offroad routes around, beautiful views. I definitely recommend it to everyone who wants to get away from the crowd and experience true peace in a natural environment.

Everything was great. Owners were hospital, apartmant has everything you need. Location is peaceful and is a good start for discovering ladscape, springs and caves.

We were warmly welcomed by a very professional couple who were very attentive to our every wish. The house is very pleasant, well equipped and particularly clean. Fruits and a tray of homemade products were waiting for us. Everything was thought of for the guests' well-being, which made us feel more than at home. The place to be if you're looking for a quiet getaway. Surrounded by greenery, beautiful walks all around. Hosts cannot be better than they are, they will go out of their way to make sure you have a comfortable stay. House is fully equipped with everything including ACs in every room. The hosts were also nice enough to leave us a small platter and some homemade drinks.

Perhaps I have never slept in such a comfy bed as here. The flat was newly renovated/built and it was quite clean. Dushanka and Damir were really great hosts. Though we spent one night in the house only, they welcomed us with local delicacies: prosciuttio (smoked ham), cheese, freshly baked bread, juice, candies, fresh fruits, spirit, etc. We loved the endless silence, the voice of wildlife, the fresh air, and the Milky Way was so bright from the terrace as I saw it from the village I grew up in decades ago. Most of the travelers go to the Croatian coasts for vacation and miss visiting the intrinsic mountainous regions of the country. However, these amazing geological formations deserve much more attention. This was our third visit in the Velebits, so we already knew the beauty of this land, but still, this is definitely a place where we need to come back in the future.

You can likely feel from the photos that you'll able to find some serenity, peace and quiet here and that is absolutely accurate. The countryside in the area is beautiful and reminds one of the cinematography commonly found in westerns and apparently there have indeed been a number of westerns filmed in this area. The apartment is modern, spacious, clean, cozy and comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped and stocked with basics to get you started and with a bonus of some delicious homemade and local delicacies and refreshments which was very kind and thoughtful of the hosts. There were plenty of clean and soft towels of various sizes and lots of storage space for our things throughout the apartment. Our family prefers smaller and thinner pillows, so the ones here were a bit too big for us but the beds are very comfortable and it is important to note in this heat that each room has its own AC if needed (and each has a TV as well). The wifi was great in any of the rooms. There are 3 terraces/balconies, so you can make the most of the shade/sun. The hot tub was a hit as well and it's nice to have comfy lounge chairs to watch the starry sky at night. The hosts were very warm and welcoming and helpful. The village is very small and has no amenities so it's wise to stop in one of the neighbouring towns (Knin is about 25 minutes away) on your way here to get any provisions you might need. There are a lot of beautiful spots in the area to explore so if you'd like a vacation, or a part of your vacation, to include some peace and quiet, off the beaten path, Holiday House Zrmanje Vrelo could be the perfect base for you. We would definitely stay here again. Our sons (15 and 13), and our dog, especially loved it and enjoyed trekking to the source of the Zrmanja river. We were sorry we couldn't stay a couple more nights to really relax and unwind but are grateful we found this gem for future trips.

“Paradise in the mountain...”

What a lovely place, amazing view on the mountain! Everything was perfect, damir and Dušanka are so friendly ! We just love this place, at least it wasn't enough to stay only two days! One week at less. Just near by krka national Park, not so far away from plitvice Park and a New national Park of dinara! Everything we need were There and much more.

This place was absolutely amazing! Everything was brand new, and we found everything we could possibly need, from a washing machine and iron to board games and a first aid kit. The place itself is spacious, calm, and incredibly comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped with a toaster, coffee machine, pots and pans, and you can even find some salt, oil, coffee, and tea. The highlight was definitely the hot tub, which provided the perfect setting for relaxation and stargazing. The host was extremely nice, going above and beyond by preparing a fruit, ham, and cheese plate, along with juice and milk. They even air-conditioned the space before our arrival. This place is absolutely incredible, and I would highly recommend it to everyone.

Very helpful staff, many inormations about wild area to rest in nature. The apartament is absolutly new and great. Many detalies are inside.it is reason to rest in big comfort. There are two comfort bedrooms with big living room.

Beautiful place to stay. The host is very generous and the price was very low for such good accommodation. The host was very generous and prepared a very nice plate of food for us since we did not have groceries with us. It was highly appreciated. The host also walked with us to show places which were 15 min walk from the accommodation. It was an exceptionally nice gesture I would say. we walked and run in the neighborhood. There is a cave to visit 20km away from the place and also the start of the river which in high water time has a waterfall that would be nice to visit. We walked there but there was lower water and no waterfall at the end of June 2023
