Medieval charm is provided in these hotels in the heart of Kronach’s historic Old Town district. Die Kronacher Stadthotels feature a traditional restaurant with an arched cellar. The Kronacher Stadthotels are 3 elegant buildings dating back to the 16th century. All rooms include a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a marble bathroom with heated floors and towel warmers. A buffet breakfast is provided each morning, and the Antla restaurant specialises in duck. Franconian snacks and beers are served in the traditional bar and lounge from 11:00 until 21:00 daily. Guests at the Stadthotels Kronach enjoy free use of an internet terminal at reception. On-site parking is available at Kronacher Stadthotels. Kronach Train Station is a 5-minute walk away.

“Comfortable, efficient and friendly”
A great example of getting just about everything right - we were greeted nicely and given a superb spacious room with a balcony and an allocated space in an internal garage. Plenty of lifts and accessibility, fabulous restaurant selling authentic local fare and they even have their own brewery. Just a short walk to various sights and Regensberg castle. Staff spoke amazingly good English and were good fun.

“Beautiful hotel ideal for 2 night break in quaint town of Kronach.”
Lovely hotel with a small brewery underneath, the beer was delicious a very knowledgeable bar staff , Lovely airy restaurant & bar, we never ate there food looked delicious bit pricey but it's high end food so expected.

“I paid twice for the stay which is not good value for money”
The hotel facilities were perfectly reasonable BUT I was double charged by a combination of the hotel and/or booking.com My card details were taken after an email form booking.com 7 days before the stay. The hotel said that hey charged the card and then cancelled the transaction. The problem is that he money had left my account (ie whatever was said teh charge happened). This meant that I had to pay AGAIN when i stayed at the hotel as they said that this had been cancelled and they hadn't received the money. I would suggest being very cautious when being asked for card details 'that will not be charged' to prevent this happening. The hotel were not helpful after the event their attitude was they hadnt received the money so no liaison w booking.com and Im still trying to get recompense although teh bank say that because this was an international transfer they cant help.

“Pleasant.”
Centrally located. Helpful and friendly staff. Beautifully decorated rooms. Very secure parking for my motorbike in the hotel's own underground garage.
