Overview
Centrally located by the harbour in Kristiansund, Scandic Kristiansund offers free WiFi and a private maritime jetty. Guests can board the Sundbåt ferry and visit the 5 islands of the city. Most of the elegantly appointed guest rooms offer sea views providing the opportunity to watch the Hurtigruten cruise ship enter the strait.

“Comfortable hotel in the centre of Kristiansund - good breakfast”
The hotel was in a good position in the centre of Kristiansund just a short walk from restaurants. The hotel had its own car park. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good - a good selection in the buffet. Our room was spacious with a sofa, desk and bed. Overall a very comfortable stay.

“Scandic - our favourite hotels in Norway”
We like Scandic hotels, the corporate ethos appeals to me - I like the 24 hour free coffee machine and very much apreciated the soda/water tap in the common area, where you can actually easily fill your flask. The check-in was warm and welcoming, the room not fancy but well up to standard and we were even given a whole carton of milk so that my husband could make tea with the kettle in our room. The breakfast, as we expected from our previous experience with Scandic, was a delightful choice of everything, including pickled fish, which we like.
