“No frills stay.”
The property is well located, right next to a bus stop. It's about 5-10 minutes walk from the city centre, and with easy access to university via public transport.

The hotel is nicely located in front of the bus stop. I travelled for work so it was very convenient. Moreover, it is easily walkable to the city center (8 minutes). Did not meet anyone in person, though the staff was responsive via booking.com.

“No-one bothered to make contact after we said we would not stay. Appalling”
We did not stay because it felt unsafe. Door could only be opened by app, which wouldn't work properly. Then the door of the unit wouldn't lock. We could not open the building door without phoning the company. There was evidence of break in attempts on the door and the door opposite. The unit was dirty. This is not a hotel but a shared building with some hotel sized rooms. Headboard was filthy. Avoid at all costs

There is no manned reception. To get entry to your room you have to fill in a website which askes for highly confidential information including a copy of your passport etc. Takes a lot of time as well. There are better hotels elsewhere in Kristiansand at better locations which have a normal reception.
