“Wish we had been able to stay longer.”
We loved the Clarion and wish we had been able to stay more than two nights. The location in Kristiansand is perfect. Across the street from the Ferry dock. Walkable to everything in town. The breakfast was exceptional. The staff warm and welcoming. If you like to walk there is a beautiful park around multiple lakes, easy to get to by foot and so beautiful.

Stay here for the second time and definitely come back again. Cool interior, tasty breakfast, nice people, warm saunas. Calm and nothing disturbing there.

“Great hotel, would stay again.”
The hotel was very close to the train and ferry terminal which was great. Upon arrival at the hotel, there was a lot going on due to a fire nearby and the Clarion being used as an evacuee and relative centre set up by the police/officials. Despite this, the staff and the hotel were calm and 'business as usual'. We had a wonderful dinner in the hotel restaurant, being given great service by the waiter - he made our children feel very special!

“Perfect location, tasty food, excellent service and cool saunas”
Really good hotel, modern room, comfortable bed, warm in. Really good and modern gym with two great saunas in which I would spend the whole day. Definitely recommend and want to come back

The over-all design, interior and furniture is hideous and looks like something out of Moldova in 1991 - and not a chic boutique hotel nor classy. It is not historical charming at all.
