“More, than expected”

August and Antun were already waiting for me very kindly. They had prepared welcome food and drinks for me, and even a delicious gift package made from their own homemade products. The jacuzzi was clean and excellent, the terrace gets sunshine all afternoon (even in April), with shading also available. The garden is beautiful—full of flowers, slightly wild and romantic—and completely fenced. There is complete privacy and quiet, and in the evenings you can enjoy the sounds of nature. The bedrooms are airy and comfortable, and the doors opening onto the back terrace are fitted with mosquito nets. The house is otherwise fully equipped for every need. The living room is cozy, with an open-plan kitchen, a large fridge and freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and all kinds of small household appliances. There is also a separate laundry room. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and all electronic devices were in excellent condition, with access to YouTube, Netflix, etc. Heating and cooling are provided by air conditioning, which worked well. Forest hiking and cycling trails start right next to the house (it’s worth noting that there is hardly any internet signal in the forest). There is no car traffic, and the neighborhood is quiet and discreet. The hosts love animals—my dog was treated with great care and kindness. The house is easy to access; however, I found that Google Maps could locate the address, while Waze was not reliable. There are no narrow driveways like in many places on Krk Island, and there is space to park up to three cars in the garden. Whenever I had a question or needed help, I received an immediate response, and the billing was fair. Even if I hadn’t left the house for a whole week, I would have felt perfectly comfortable. It was fantastic—thank you! 😊

The Forest House is the magical place located in a paceful area. The best owners in the world keep the house clean and fully equipped! They are very helpful, extremely kind and nice people. We spent couple of days there and we had a really nice time. We wish our stay could be longer! We were delighted to every gift we get. Thanks to the owners we had the chance to taste the best homemade strudle we have ever eaten. We highly recommend The Forest House to everyone!

Where to begin... Everything was perfect, the house was spotless, equipped with everything we needed and more, the fenced yard is absolutely gorgeous, like living in your own private forest. August and Antun are by far the best hosts we ever had, they welcomed us with wine, homemade goodies and they even prepared a bowl of water for our dog. Every bedroom has a tv with Youtube and Netflix, comfortable beds and ensuite bathrooms, we had plenty of towels. The hot tub was a hit with our son 😊 all in all, it was a perfect holiday and hopefully we'll come back again. August and Antun, thank you so so much, we had a great time.

I don't even know where to begin: Starting with the very warm welcome from the hosts, the presentation of the house, the pleasant music playing upon arrival, the information provided, and up to the handover of the keys, the beginning of the stay was already wonderfully pleasant. The house, the furnishings, the surroundings, and the comfort leave not a single point of criticism. Truly, nothing is lacking. Anyone who comes to this paradise will not only be able to relax but will also be equally moved by the small and large details that the two hosts have lovingly arranged here. All in all, after an exciting journey, our stay provided us with deep relaxation like we have never experienced before. We will return, but next time for a longer stay!
