A very relaxing and peaceful place to be in with welcoming,friendly and helpful hosts.

We really liked staying here. The owners are really lovely and even though there English isn't great they made the extra effort to communicate with us to make our stay as good as it was. We returned here after a few days away and stayed here twice.

“Perfect little stay”

This place is close to lots of things you need but also very quiet and beautiful views just outside your room. The hosts were so helpful and lovely and really wanted us to have a good experience. We would definitely go back here The hosts arranged a boat trip for us which was one of best days we had in Thailand so far it was just amazing

Nice and clean and new, owners are very friendly and helpful. There's lots of attractions nearby if you have transport and There's one bar called the crossroads which is pretty good. Otherwise a very low key location with several Thai places and a cheap convenience store cum wholesaler. Seven eleven is a bit further up the road. It's about 45 mins by car to Krabi town or Ao Nang.

“Feeling at home in the jungle”

Very cute guesthouse, feeling like a Homestay with only a few rooms. We stayed in the bamboo bungalow with our baby and it was very cozy feeling like sleeping in the jungle :) well maintained area and very good food! Moreover we good nice recommendations from our hosts, eg for a local market. Extremely welcoming hosts - can’t go wrong staying here!

“Nice, clean, quiet.”

Very clean and everything you need. It’s was a familiar atmosphere there in a quiet neighborhood.

The host was excellent. Very helpful and ensured we had a good experience with recommendations for restaurants and trips. We went kayaking and to the local swimming area which was lovely. The national park is only 15-20 minute walk away. The room was clean and comfortable with good water pressure in shower.

Had a great stay with Pan and Chay! They are such friendly people who invited me to eat and helped me with everything from renting a scooter and transport to going kayaking and showing me great places around Ao Luek. ☺️

It's a good value for money, clean place, quiet and equipped with everything you need for a short stay. Even a hairdryer, and nice silent AC. The owners are very friendly.

“Amazing, realxing, beautiful Homestay.”

We fell in love with Baan Panmala and we didn’t want to leave. Chaiwat and his family were so welcoming and really made us feel apart of his family. We have memories we shall cherish for ever and will definitely be back ! The property is beautiful with lots of plants, pond with fish which you can feed. The property is near a beautiful nation park where you can swim and see monkeys. Chaiwat told us about other excursions trips which are great fun, kayaking through mangroves and caves. You can definitely relax and immerse yourself in nature here. Highly recommend Bann Panmala !!! Love Georgia and Ashley xxx

“Good place, stiff owner”

Check-in took some. Room was spacious and had everything needed. Next day we wished to rent a scooter. First they offered one of their own ones that is for that propose. We needed to leave a passport and 1500 baht as deposit. I offered the owner a passport and 50 euro bill (1500 was 42 €) as deposit. He refused. Needed to take out money first. With the first short ride front brake jammed on gravel. Luckily we didn't crash. It just stayed on. Was later fixed by mechanics. Then he said that a rental bike will come at 10 am. Decided to wait it. Then next time was 12, then 13, then 14. Finally it was already 16 when they had the bike. Terrible communication. Since we planned to take a longer trip it wasn't anymore doable within left 2 hours of daylight. Cancelled that day and wanted to use the rest of the daytime next morning that we had left. It was till 13. First he wanted full days rental for 5 hours - 350 baht, which is the most expensive for 125 Click we've paid in Thailand after a month stay. Even for a full day. Managed to bargain it to 200, he didn't agree with less. That makes 24 rental price 1000 baht. Fortunately haven't met so stiff behavior elsewhere in Thailand.

“A real gem”

It felt like being home. A family run guest house, very clean, bed was very comfortable and every morning woke up by birds song which I loved. Pan and Chai made our stay very enjoyable, they were very helpful and kind. Our room was overlooking to pond and mountains and it was quite. Highly recommend Baan Panmala. Very friendly hosts😀 Fantastic room all mod cons, Super clean in the room ,the bed and pillows were so comfortable 😴and fresh.Bathroom was as new.Try the food as well,great value and very tasty🤤 I would definitely stay again. Set back away from the road and a great location to go sightseeing away from the crowd's
