“It's all about the view!!”

This was our 2nd stay here, the last in April 2023 at the start of the season and this was the end of the season. Both times there were very few guests in this large hotel. The ensuite rooms had had been modernised with lighter and attractive furnishings, but there remained a slightly rundown feel to the building. The a/c was good and we received daily water bottles in the fridge, whether we had used the previous ones or not. Bedding and towels were changed daily, though after the 1st day we were given a sheet only half the size of the bed and thus needed to ask for 2 to cover us - this is something we have found before in some Turkish accommodation. The view from all balconies of Lake Koycegiz are the reason to stay here. This is the only accommodation separated from the lake by just the width of the long promenade (and which is full of pedestrians all day and evening long), Ever changing magical views over the lake! The hotel has a few tables on the promenade by the lake for mainly drinks. From the promenade it is only a minute's walk to the start of the lakeside cafes and restaurants. We were the only people apparently to use the swimming pool - which has a near infinity effect with the lake. We were disappointed that the dolphin waterfall had been removed since our last visit. Staff were friendly and tried to be helpful. The views will take us back there when we are next in the area.

“Great location and good value in winter but renovation much needed”

I had a nice warm welcome from Fehmi, the manager who spoke excellent English and who I understand, also speaks fluent Russian. I was surprised to see key operated rooms at the hotel which was a bonus. The room was well equipped although the ensuite shower room was small. I had one of the lake view rooms with a balcony which was absolutely superb even in the middle of winter. So a great location indeed. As I had an early departure I did not stop for breakfast and again because it was winter the hotel was very quiet. Certainly in winter the location represents very good value.

The food provided was very good, however, perhaps omelettes could be put on the menu for a change? Or pancakes? And last but not least fresh fruit is always yummy.

Location excellent, Staff although very polite no one except the manager spoke English and 70 % of the time he was not there, I had emailed to asl for a kettle in room[Over 70] love my bedtime cuppa but none provided Disappointef in breakfast no eggs first day only CHEESE as protein, no fruit at all shocked as oranges are so cheap in Turkey so i requested yoghurt as protein and suffered no fresh fruit Very basic so i thought it was little over priced for Turkey so next time i will use booking .com but not return to hotel

It was a fine hotel but the aircon could have been better and quieter. The pool area is wonderful. The rooms are fine, and the bathroom. The reception area and dining room really lets the place down - very shabby - but doesn't detract from the main highlights.

Our room had a view over the lake which was lovely. The bathroom was modern and clean, with nice quality towels. The dining area was open for use all day, and the hotel supplied free tea and coffee.

“Very beautiful stay”

We stayed for one night, the view and the pool were incredible. The town was very authentic and very nice. Prices are great.

“Established hotel in great location”

The staff were friendly and very helpful to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Nothing was to much trouble. The hotel itself could benefit from an upgrade, but this is reflected in the price and we felt it was great value for money. The location couldn’t be better, the beds are comfortable, the hotel is kept very clean, outdoor swimming pool and gardens are well maintained. They can also provide free parking if you have a vehicle.

“Quiet place with beautiful view”

Our room was upgraded for free to a one with the view to the lake. The manager Fahme was very friendly and helpful. The view was very nice, we came in times of lockdown and stayed for 1 night after the flight on our way to Pamukkale. It was a great decision. Long night walk on the promenade in front of the hotel, bright moon and total peace. Was a great start of our vacation!
