During our stay, we experienced several unpleasant issues. We requested a late check-out, but the hosts refused. On the day of departure, we left 10 minutes later than the official time (at 10:10), as we were finishing washing the dishes. Afterwards, the host contacted us and demanded an extra payment not only for the “late check-out,” but also €25 for “poorly washed dishes.” It is worth noting that there was no sponge in the apartment when we arrived, and we had to buy one ourselves. What was especially concerning is that the €25 was requested outside of Booking — either in cash or via a personal SEPA transfer, without any official invoice, which seemed suspicious and unprofessional. In addition, the host mentioned that “they could see from the cameras” that we had not yet left, even though at that moment we were already outside. This raises serious concerns about surveillance and the lack of guest privacy in the property. Overall, instead of comfort and hospitality, we faced unreasonable demands, pressure, and questionable payment requests.
