Best sunrise ever!

We had a lovely stay. The place has an indescribable atmosphere – you can literally hear the ocean all the time. We spent a lot of time either on the terrace enjoying the stunning ocean view or in the pool. The owners are very kind and helpful with anything you need. You could even rent a scooter from the owner. In terms of value for money, it’s definitely a 10/10.

“A beautiful villa with great views and host!”

This is a beautiful property with ocean views and a lovely terrace. It is a short 10 minute TukTuk to get into the local towns and surf spots. The host is so lovely and even brought us a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast one day, we were very grateful for his hospitality!

Blue as the sea, green like the grass even though I am clourblind (dyslexic) the property was a majestic yellow heaven. The host was a lovely man.

Having visited BOV almost every year since 2003 we found this excellent location with 180% views that had the absolute"wow" factor. The villa is well appointed and completely self-contained with all the required appliances. The Owners/Managers have not spared any efforts in making this place a terrific place of retreat. It is a surfers' paradise and the sounds of the crashing waves at your doorstep brings music to your ears.The swimming pool is conveniently situated and immaculately maintained. The location is situated a mere 10-15 minutes drive off the main Expressway (EO1) at Beliatta. The husband and wife combination as Owners/Managers go the extra yards in making one's stay very comfortable and their hospitality and honesty is beyond reproach.We strongly recommend visitors to stay at the BOV and one would not have any regrets. The view from the terrace is unforgettable .To sit on the terrace and watch and hear the waves was beautiful.Our hosts went over and above to assist us. The accommodation was outstanding. Beautifully designed and maintained and cleaned to the highest of standards..Home cooked SriLankan breakfasts and dinners which were extremely generous in portion size are sometimes available but if you would like a takeaway the kind and efficient owner can arrange. The tiny pool for cooling off in overlooking the sea was a magical bonus and was filtered and maintained to a very high standard.

“Breathtaking views from this cute little villa”

This family was so kind and welcoming. We loved our stay here. We stayed with the 4 of us and had the whole villa for ourselves, we even got surprised with the little jacuzzi that Suji built, it was a great way to cool down (small charge to keep it clean and for fresh water in the pool). The views are just breathtaking and the details of the house outside are beautiful.

Host brought us coffee in the mornings, helped us find tuktuk and also helped us order dinner!

Good place

Wonderfully located just at the shore of the ocean, the view is breathtaking and there's always a fresh sea breeze. The villa is equipped with everything you need and also offers many cozy outdoor places to hang out: the terrace, sun beds underneath, a little garden and a dinner table directly at the sea. There's a bus stop just out of the door and you can also rent a scooter or tuk tuk from the host for a fair price. Yes, the villa is a bit off from tourist spots, but it's great to find some silence. We worked remotely from there and that worked perfectly. There are stunning beaches in walking distance and in only 15 min by scooter you're at popular places such as Hiriketiya or Dondra. The host is incredibly helpful, kind and welcoming. He brought us Sri Lankan breakfast a few mornings, invited us to the Sri Lankan new year feast and just did everything he could to make us feel comfortable. When we left he even organized us a seat on a bus to Ella which picked us up right at the Villa. Thanks again for everything, it was a wonderful stay and we'd love to come back!

Fantastic location on the shore. Turlles via for space with surfers in the bay. Comfortable rooms. Great deck area and super helpful hosts.

Right on the edge of the sea...nicely done spots to enjoy the ocean views. Basic but clean accommodation. The owner was very helpful and went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable.

“Great”

We arrived at Blue Ocean Villa and immediately wished we booked for longer. The host was so kind and helpful. He made us feel so welcome. The villa itself is beautiful, clean and has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The view is absolutely amazing. The perfect spot to chill out for a few days. The bathroom could have been a little bit cleaner and the bed was quite hard. Other than that everything was perfect!

“Good Beach for Surfing”

I think Blue Ocean Villa is not beachfront; it's just on the beach. You can always hear the beach. If you're there, don't ever leave. I wish I had more time. especially the owner; he's always smiling and helpful. The villa is very clean and has an awesome kitchen with new equipment. We had a free dinner and a lot of information about the nearby beaches. There are no more crowded beaches here, which is ideal for surfing. I really recommend this place.
