Welcome to Montenegro Backpackers Home Kotor (formerly known as Montenegro Hostel B&B Kotor). Our accommodation offers a new concept of hospitality, where our guests can feel at home and easily connect with other travelers. Our location in the heart of Old Town Kotor, in a historic stone house, provides easy access to beaches and other tourist attractions. The accommodation has undergone a complete renovation for the season 2024, featuring a modern design that ensures a pleasant stay for guests. The kitchen, which is considered the heart of the home, is designed to cater to community cooking. The air-conditioned dormitories are equipped with lockers that are spacious enough to accommodate even the largest backpacks, ensuring a comfortable stay in well-maintained rooms. Montenegro Backpackers Home in Kotor offers accommodation in 3 dormitories that have a total of 16 beds. There are two 6-bed dorms and one 4-bed dorm. The accommodation also offers a reception desk, shared bathroom, toilet, communal kitchen, and common room for guests to use. Montenegro Backpackers Home Kotor is located inside the city walls, 600m away from the bus station (about 10 minutes of a moderate walk). Airport Tivat is the closest airport to Kotor located 10km far away. The closest city beach is 350 meters away from the accommodation. The promenade and city marina are 150 meters away, and the shopping mall with a green market is 200 meters of distance. All main city attractions surrounding the accommodation, including the city walls , churches, museums, galleries, as well as the most popular cafe bars, restaurants, and clubs.

I couldn't get to Kotor for the firsr night of my stay, but they managed to put me up in Budva free of charge whilst I was stuck there. When I finally arrived, the staff were very friendly, the facilities (especially the showers) were very modern and clean. The price is reasonable and the location is fantastic, right in the center of the old town

The hostel's location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the old town of Kotor. There were big lockers for each bed in the room. The kitchen is fully equipped and has double sinks and stoves, so it can accommodate several people at once (not many, though, because there is not so much space). The volunteers were nice and helpful.

Nice place in the city center! Very chilled and cosy! Big plus for the lockers and the kitchen! but hard to get some intels if you are not in the schedule time. And I basically did not see anybody from the staff. Not a problem if you wanna only travel and have a quiet and good place to stay.

This hostel was a gem! The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming and felt like a home away from home. The receptionist was absolutely amazing – she was so friendly and helpful, going above and beyond. Her little niece was an added bonus – she was such a joy to be around. I loved my stay here!!!

Comfortable dorms with black-out curtains, blankets and towels. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location amazing, right in the middle of the old town!
