Located at the foot of Mount Konpira, Kotohira Grand Hotel Sakuranosho features indoor/outdoor public hot-spring baths and relaxing massages. A free shuttle service is offered from JR Kotohira Train Station, which is a 5-minute drive away and must be reserved at time of booking. “A bit too pricey but overall good stay”
Vip room and public onsen was nice. The bed is super comfortable. Breakfast was good and dinner had options every night.

“Top Notch Stay: View, Room, Restaurant, Staff, Location - You won't find better!”
Perfect location less than a minute from the stairs to the shrine. Only a 10 minute walk to the train. Loads of shops line the stairs. The hotel itself was exceptional: staff, facilities, onsen, restaurant, room - all were absolutely top notch. One of our best stays in Japan!
