“Very friendly owner”

“Lovely place and superhost”
The host was very friendly and eager to help out all tourists and took his time to help you in any way he can. He has travelled to more than 70 countries himself so he can relate. The place is cozy and clean and the setting is quite intriguing. Very close to the station.

“Fantastic stay”
I had the best stay - the location is really close to both the train station and Kotohira-gu, and the room was well appointed. My host made the stay amazing - he was welcoming, friendly and helpful, and he spoke great English so we were able to get to know each other over tea. I would stay here again.

The location was a short walk from the JR station and the Kotohira shrine. The host was very friendly and welcoming, and spoke English really well. He had lots of suggestions for places to go and things to see.

“A welcoming place by a friendly and passionate traveller”
First things first: this is a welcoming place. I enjoyed my short time at Kotohira a lot and a huge reason for that was the friendly and relaxed atmosphere at the guesthouse. The host (heart and soul of this traditional house in central location) is a bubbly and passionate traveller himself that has seen so many places in Japan and around the world. He is really interested in your own experiences while you travel in the region and he can give you a lot of recommendations. Even though this guest house is in the north of Shikoku, he provided me with travel and commuting advices for Hokkaido. And: I loved the traditional house in central but quiet location. My roomy female dormitory (for 2 people) was lovely decorated. It felt a bit like in a treasure museum. The bath facilities are modern and the kitchen is well equipped (free coffee). So, if you wanna stay in a friendly place where you can recharge travel energy and get freshly inspired, pick this guest house.
