“Sit back relax and dive”
Amazing beach resort with exceptionally clean rustic cabins overlooking a stunning bay with Mt Kinabalu in the background if you’re lucky on a clear day. Good food (even for vegetarians) and friendly staff. Would book again 😊

“Perfect escape from a busy world. Truly special place.”
I totally loved it. I was a bit nervous when booking knowing that if I didn’t like it I could be stuck but if far outweighed my expectations. I stayed 5 nights wished I had time to stay much longer. If you want to truly relax and unwind this is the best place to be. Great beach great staff great food.

“Little paradise”
It is very nice and peaceful, a place to relax and scuba dive if you want. The fact that all meals are included, so it is simple!for anything you want to buy like drinks you just write it down yourself and pay at the end

“It was great!”
The boat ride, the scenery was superb! I was lucky to spot Mount Kinabalu due to the cloudy weather forecast. The buffet dinner was so good, a big portion and an environmentally conscious business! Love the idea, hope to see more places like this.

Beautiful setting. Beach in front and jungle behind. The only way to get there was by a quick boat ride. We loved the location. The staff were very friendly and the food delicious. Try the pancakes for breakfast.

Wonderful postcard-ish place! Some of the staff was ut f the ordinary good: Our diverinstructor Jack was the best! Also Ray, on of the diveasters was a coo and fun guy! And the small-boat captain also a really good young man going out of his way to help us Great diving and great certificate teaching - Jack is the best!

“Bigfin dive resort, also awesome for people who don't dive”
Really relaxed vibe, great food, very friendly and helpful staff who will go out of their way to make your stay great. Beautiful garden with a lot of different spots to hang out and chill, and a nice communal area where you eat and can chat with other guests or play some of the games lying around. We had an absolutely fantastic stay.

“Would love to have stayed longer”
Staff were very friendly. Food was tasty with good portion sizes. Very relaxed but professional vibe for both the resort and the diving/snorkeling trips offered. Location stunning and very relaxing - a real "get away from it all" destination. Limitations on facilities are clearly explained in advance. Rooms are simple but spotless with very comfortable bed and hammocks on the veranda. Good efforts made to minimize environmental impacts of the facility.

“It's a 12 out of 10!”
12/10 - we loved the place and it was great to stay there for 5 nights as you can really relax and calm down. We also went snorkeling, diving and renting a kayak to see more lovely beaches. We will definitely come back! Thanks again to the team!

“I would rather call it a backpackers or bigfin hostel than a "beach resort".”
Great location and nature. Hibiskus flowers everywhere, very nice views. Food (breakfast, lunch dinner) is included as well as coffee, tea (black and green) and drinking water. Food is simple but good. Cleaning staff very accurate 👍

“Extended our stay”
We loved it so much we extended our stay. The location is awesome - being on the side of a hill, there is a view from everywhere. I especially liked my breakfast view. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. My husband loved the kayak fishing (he brought his own rod and reel etc). The best swimming was a short kayak Paddle across to the small island.
