Simple and comfy. Perfect for 1 to 2 nights if you want to hike to the waterfall that is nearby. Super friendly host that would arrange lunch or dinner on request.

The view and the history was more than amazing. Literally went above and beyond for us.

The location very good, if you want to visit Diyaluma falls. The owner offered himself as guide to take us to the falls and make sure we could see the best places. As there is not much around, we were very happy about that dinner and breakfast can be prepared in the accommodation. The dinner for an extra charge, breakfast was included in our rate. The owner was super helpful and available at all times. The surrounding nature is amazing. It’s a simple accommodation, as described and great value for money.

We had a wonderful stay at Happy Feet Diyaluma! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The location is perfect just a short distance from the waterfall, which made exploring so easy. Breakfast was delicious and filling, and the dinner was tasty and offered at a reasonable price. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended!

Absolutely wonderful, peaceful, clean, and close-to-nature accommodation near a waterfall. I stayed for two nights with my two small children. The service was friendly and excellent, and the children loved the breakfast tailored to their liking and really liked the owner. We even had the pleasure of having him join us on a trip to the waterfalls and tea plantations—thank you so much!

“Great breakfast and guide!”

The room was great value for money. Hot water was perfect and bed was comfortable. The best part of this place was Chathumal Who was very accommodating when we arrived, we were a little late and he stayed up to welcome us. The breakfast made by his mum was authentic and delicious. We were here to visit the falls and Chathumal Offered to be our guide. He was incredible and got us to all the spots right before the tourist rush so our photos were brilliant!

Just like the pictures! Everything is very new and clean. Hot water shower, comfy bed. Excellent mosquito nets with elastic edging. Very friendly and helpful host. Nice dining and seating area outside the rooms. Good size breakfast which set us up for the day. A couple of local cafes for food or the host can also bring you something if ordered beforehand. WiFi works well in rooms. Easy parking outside. This is a ideal base for exploring the Waterfalls, if you drive up to Poonagala you can easily walk the Upper trek - about 20 minutes to the top falls. This is a hidden gem of a guesthouse - definitely stay here if you can. The surprise of this place was the incredible jungle views!

Truly amazing hosts, very helpful and caring. The location was great for our hike up the diyaluma falls. The Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious and plenty. We also had a great dinner from the hosts for 750 rs per person for a large portion of vegetarian rice & curry. Additionally, you have a stunning view from your room and the dining table over the mountains.

The host was really nice and helpful! So friendly and the welcoming was the best! The room is clean and spacious (as on the photos), there is hot water with good pressure.

Our host was fantastic. He went above and beyond all expectations. Friendly and charming. My partner's shoes fell apart and we asked if they knew where we could get them fixed, next thing we knew they were fixed at no charge. It was my birthday and they gave me a cake and celebrated with us, all in all was very touching and would wholeheartedly recommend Happy Feet.

We have chosen this accommodation thanks to its location within a walking distance from both upper and lower Diyaluma waterfalls. For a one-night stay with this purpose, its an ideal choice. The accommodation manager is also very nice, kind and helpful.

Very comfortable accommodation with a very friendly host. Everything extremely clean and tidy. All carpentry beautifuly done by host father. The breakfast is abundant and very tasty. Dinner can also be arranged. Dinner was excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. Nearby is a beautiful waterfall, which can be reached by a short walk through the forest. If you find yourself on the way to or from Ella and need a short break, I highly recommend this accommodation.

We spent 3 nights here. Usually guests take only one night to see the waterfall. The host is very friendly. He offers home cooked food. You can rent a scooter from him. The rooms are small but sufficient for the waterfall visit. You fall asleep with the jungle sounds. The host immediately responded to improvements and showed his interest.
