Overview
Located on the waterfront of Korissia in Kea, Hotel Karthea is just across from from Agios Georgios Beach. It features rooms with a private balcony overlooking the village or the Aegean Sea. Rooms at the Karthea are tastefully decorated with wooden furnishings and parquet floors. Each includes a fridge, a TV and free Wi-Fi. All units have a private bathroom with amenities and a hairdryer. Buffet breakfast is served daily in the dining room or in the rooms. Guests can have drinks and coffee at the bar. The hotel also features a small library. Korissia’s waterfront is lined with little cafés and bars. Ioulida, the island’s capital is set on a hill 5.5 km away and offers panoramic views to the sea. Staff at the 24-hour front desk can arrange car rental. The trip to Kea from the port of Lavrion takes just over an hour.

Great hotel near the port, with lots of restaurants around. Also the bus stop and a market are nearby. The room was clean, room service everyday and stuff was helpful. Great place to stay.

“Good one”
The hotel is right next to the beach and very close to hike paths and the port with restaurants and shops. We he enjoyed making coffee and breakfast in the room and have it on the balcony. Relaxing and quiet. Check-out was at 11, and our ferry was at 17.45. The hotel stored out luggage for free and we were allowed to use their terrace outside and use the toilet until we were leaving.

“Such a lovely room with a balcony looking over the port, restaurants and the long sandy beach.”
Such a lovely hotel, really helpful staff. Central location to a lot of delicious restaurants, very near the ferry , close to car hire and supermarkets and a long beach.

Lovely helpful staff. Clean rooms , fabulous location only 5 minutes walk from where the ferry comes in. Absolutely loved it! Also had a lovely breakfast, everything you could wish for and excellent home made jam!
