“Zion Train is a must when traveling to Ethiopia 🇪🇹”
I can recommend Zion Train lodge to everyone who wants to visit Ethiopië. Shashamene is a must. Our words can not describe how amazing this experience was. It was so beautiful. The owners, Ras Alex and Sister Sandrine, are providing a lodge full of peace and harmony. And for those who are interested in Rastafari, we must go to Zion Train Lodge. “A beautiful oasis”
They are extremely welcoming, have created a beautiful oasis and a great vibe. Beautifully crafted accommodation and grounds, with wonderful artworks on the walls, several seating areas and a rich choice of trees and plants which attracts many bird species. And the food was delicious!

“Peace and natural beauty with two great hosts”
The hosts Sandrina and Alex are a lovely couple. They made us feel very welcome and they were always happy to help and answer our many questions! The lodge is such a peaceful and quiet place it was very tranquil. I liked also that locals visited the lodge regularly and that made us feel connected to the local people even though they didn't speak much English!! I would definitely stay there again

This place is a piece of peace inside the crowded Shashemene. Fantastic place for those interested in knowing about the rastafarian culture. Sandrin and Alex are gentle and kind and the place is cozy and confortable. And food options are really good! Highly recommended.
