I think it needs renovation. You are practically on the same site with the owners. We stayed for one night and it didn't matter much. the hosts are hospitable, the location is 5+

“A lovely welcoming home in the heart of the village.”
Lovely welcoming hosts. Perfect location - walking distance to all the museum houses and good restaurants. Well equipped. Comfortable beds. Good WiFi. We loved sitting on the cool balcony with its beautiful view. Handy parking right outside. Peaceful and private.
