The staff is a family of 6th generation. Very kind people, extremely service minded and professional. The hotel is a bit off from the motorway, in an agricultural area. The drive towards the area is amazing in the sunset. Nice curvy roads, hills and fields and forests pass you as you drive. The food is a highlight. Everything is locally produced or sourced. A-ma-zing mushroom dishes and sauces. The sallads are a bliss, the meat dishes are absolute magnificent. If you ask for a medium rare steak, you get a medium rare steak. Portions are large and delicious. The building is of traditional wooden style, you get solid wood everywhere, very nice and sturdy. The rooms are tidy and the beds are great for having a rest. I am 190 cm tall and fit very well in the beds. Have tried nearly all the rooms during the years. Use this hotel as a stop between Sweden and Hungary for the last decade, loving it. Breakfast is just perfect, you can get everything a traditional German breakfast can offer. If you have some special wish or need (I have tested with my 2,5y old daughter once) the staff can help. All-in-all a very welcoming and pleasant experience that never have disappointed me during a decade. A solid option to consider for a stay.

I have stayed here several times and the family that run the hotel a very friendly, the host speak fantastic English and is very easy to get on with. Her husband is also very friendly and an excellent host.
