Beautiful location! The hosts are really friendly. Excellent breakfast and dinner. The boat trip on the Kwando river was full of animals.

Friendly staff and a lonely atmosphere, with managers present. A location close to the river, which provided an excellent boat tour seeing hippos, cross and many bird varieties. Very attentive to individual meal requirements.

The lobby and environment are amazing. Wonderful views. Tents are nice and very clean. Dinner is ok. Presentation is better. The pool is outstanding.

It was a marvelous place. The lodges are big tents but very comfortable with supernice bed. Refridgerator and nice terrace. Clean. Wifi at reception. We saw hippos when eating dinner. Nice Staff. Very nice reception and dinner area with fantastic view. Dinner and breakfast good.

“Good place for a one night stop off”

Great pool area, the communal lodge area where we ate was quirky - loved the large wicker lighting. Finding hippos through the monocular was fun. The wood fired shower was a back to nature experience and exhilarating! Service in our evening meal was excellent, great chef too.

Great place with a hippo eating dinner at the same time as us! The river boat tour to the carmine bee eaters was wonderful!

“A real taste of Africa on the Kwando River”

Loved this place. We stayed in the luxury tent, very comfortable. The bar, dining and lounge area was awesome overlooking the river and the hippos. Meals at the shared tables were delicious. Really felt like Africa, well done to the owners.

“A lovely and memorable stay in the region”

The best thing our group can say about Kazandwe Camp and Lodge is that it exceeded our expectations. We knew it would be nice based on its location and previous reviews, but somehow it was just that much better in person. The outlook is lovely, the lounge area welcoming, and the atmosphere friendly. Susanne and the team were great, making sure we had a memorable experience. One of our party celebrated her birthday during the stay and the kind words and after-dinner drinks were appreciated! Speaking of dinner, it was excellent both nights, truly delicious with very generous portions. The cultural music and dancing one evening was a great surprise. Accommodation was very tidy and comfortable. One couple stayed in a tent and the other in the (very) large tree house/safari tent (a fantastic choice if you want something special). Thanks for the memorable stay!

Location was pleasant with view over Kwando river - home to some crocs and hippos and some colourful birds. Food was fine, including the breakfast.

Great views from everywhere of the camp down to the river, the main lodge is beautifully designed with wonderful furniture. Our studio was also well equipped, clean and super cozy! The staff is helpful with everything one might need and always attentive of the wellbeing of their guest. A peaceful place to calm down and to enjoy the nature of Namibia.

Very clean and location was great. The food was delicious. Having hippos visit in early hours outside the tent was brilliant.

Wonderful location in a beautiful environment. Our family suite consisted of two bedrooms that are in separate parts oft the building, but still side by side. Food was delicious. Boat cruise can be very much recommended!
