Lovely cottage in the outskirts of Komoro, very convenient if you travel by car. Well equipped kitchen and tatami in the rooms. We enjoyed our stay.

Lovely cottage in the woods, comfortable and well-equipped with great outdoor space. Peaceful atmosphere and friendly hosts — highly recommended for nature lovers. However, in January it was cold inside, despite heaters turned on, especially at night, so be ready for winter temperatures and warm layers. The location is peaceful and great for a nature reset, just better suited for other seasons if you’re sensitive to the cold.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this house. The place itself is beautiful — incredibly cozy, spotless, and very thoughtfully furnished. Every detail has been taken care of to make guests feel at home. What really made our experience special was the kindness of the owners: they are the sweetest and most considerate hosts ever ! They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay, offering help whenever needed and taking the time to explain everything to us. Also as foreigners, the house was very welcoming and accessible: all items were clearly labeled in both English and Japanese, and they even showed us how to make the bed. We couldn’t recommend this place more, it was perfect for the three of us, and we would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you for such a memorable stay!

“Great house in a great area”

Great cabin in a very quiet and beautiful area. Traditional Japanese styled house. Kitchen had all the required amenities. Beds were comfortable. Heating everywhere, which was good because it is already quite cold it autumn. Car required, as it is in the very outskirts.

Small house in the middle of the woods, super friendly host, the place is clean, nice and quiet, and only 5mn away from the shops if using a car! One of my favourite nights in Japan!

The hosts were amazing, really sweet people and their pet kitty Pooh-chan was very friendly as well (not in the property). We enjoyed the walks around the property in the woods, and the bon fire at night. It was such a relaxing time and would definitely recommend it for anyone wanting a break from busy city life, or a break during a busy travel. I loved the bear holding the bench in the garden. They are also environmentally conscious and use earth friendly soaps.

Midori the host was very friendly and helpful, went out of her way as a go between for booking Dinner, as private restaurant was only Japanese speaking, so translated and re-visited to help us. Loved the quietness, and bushland right up to the doorstep. Very generous with living items, kitchen had everything, rice cooker, good sized stove, insect spray, everything! Bathroom, deep bath, all above expectation.

Beautiful cottage located in a quiet snowy area!!!! every details are so cute and thoughtful!!! I like the way home Midori San met us at her shop and we get to know each other and her cat as well!!! Ww booked a bbq and Bon fire which is so perfect for this season!!! Mandi

“Awesome experience!!”

Tiny Japanese style lodge in a little forest yet convenience close to town. We could see a monkey visits the garden in the morning. The owner is very environment friendly. She prepared warm bedding for us and very helpful. It was an awesome experience to stay at Hutte Leid for us. Especially for our kids.
