“Cozy apartment with all you need for a nice stay in Kommetjie”

Comfy little apartment with everything you need in Kommetjie, quite n natural area, nice cat that sometimes comes to say hello. Waves to surf nearby, Cape point park not far. Good food n coffee around. Can see the sunset from the road that goes up to the reserve, 2 minutes by car, great viewpoint over the ocean

“Bad stay at The Retreat”

We booked The Retreat based on the ratings of Booking.com We were very disappointed and left a day earlier. The bed was very uncomfortable with metal pushing into your ribs. The bathroom curtains were held up by washing pegs. The bedroom/lounge had a window that looked out into the neighbours bedroom. We could see them so of course they could see us!. There is ZERO security. We had to park on the street, and as we have been travelling for some time, we had a lot of expensive equipment with us for our blog like laptops, cameras etc, this was not acceptable. The entrance was a wooden door with no lock. The cottage itself only had a trellidoor and the glass door had no key. That's not acceptable anywhere, no matter how safe the owner thinks it is. We were not willing to leave our stuff there, it gets stolen and then it's sorry, it's never happened before! The owner did offer us other accommodation but by then we were gone.

Walking distance from the beach

Amazing clean nest , close to the beach and coffee shops restaurant market. Stephanie is very kind and friendly, warm welcome, super easy communication. (we didn't have a car, everything is walking distance) we will come again.

Lovely host, and quite a cute place!

this place was the highlight of our trip. The room was perfect in every sense, locationwise could not be better and the host is super friendly

“Enjoyable stay”

Beautiful part of Cape Town. The beach, nearby restaurants all in walking distance. The room is well equipped with small kitchen including fridge and microwave. We enjoyed the free wifi, TV with Netflix streaming and the solar backup power was a bonus. The host was really friendly and helpful.

The location was perfect for a beautiful drive to Cape Town. The property is close to the sea and there are nice restaurants with good food.

Pleasant atmosphere in a beautiful part of south Africa

Everything was perfect. The host was very helpful and friendly. A great place to getaway for some quiet time and a peaceful area and a walking a distance from the beach.
