I found a little piece of paradise. Everything was very clean, cosy and beautiful. A lovely little garden with birds to watch and a small pool. It is located in a very quiet and safe area, only a 12-minute walk from the beach, shops, restaurants, etc. Thank you again, Shelley! I really felt at home and will definitely be back

“Weekend getaway”

The location was in a really peaceful and quiet place. The cottage was OK for a weekend getaway. We loved the garden area...very tranquil but we hardly used it because of snakes and baboons... Which thank goodness we did not encounter during our stay. Kommetjie is known for snakes and baboons but you just have to be awake and alert.

It was well appointed and secure. The little cottage is perfect for our needs. The bed was comfy but a bit short but my hubby is very tall. Perhaps consider replacing it with extra length when it's due for replacement. Shelley was very helpful, professional and accommodating.

Lovely host - very helpful and friendly. Lovely, clean and comfortable. Access was easy and we received a lovely welcome gift.

Our gracious host ensured that every amenity was available for a comfortable stay - comfortable bedding, ample crockery and cutlery, tranquil and peaceful garden setting, cleanliness and privacy. The tucked away cottage offered so much privacy, we could enjoy a couples massage from a mobile spa who set up at the pool side. Absolute bliss :) Thank you Shelley - so glad that we found your little gem.

“Perfect”

The cottage that we stayed in had absolutely everything that you needed. There's even a hairdryer for after your swim/shower, so convenient if you however forgot to pack one in. The garden and pool area was magnificent & so so peaceful ✨. We loved every single moment here! Shelley is such an excellent host, sweetest lady. You won't even know they're there, unless you need something or she would warn you if there are any baboons close in the area for safety purposes. 11/10 🩵.

Very comfortable and neatly furnished self catering cottage in lovely garden

Everything was perfect for us. The pool view & shower was a standout for me. Whatever you possibly needed was provided. Our stay was 10 out of 10.

We really enjoyed our stay peaceful, quiet no one bothered us although Shelley and her husband were on the property, woke up to the sound of very busy cheerful birds which made it blissful. We will definitely be back for another visit
