“A fantastic stay with an spectacular view”

Dimitra was amazing, she was so welcoming and happy to accommodate our request for late check out due to a 10pm return flight. The view from the apartment and balcony was spectacular. Better than the photos. There was a lovely beach below which could be accessed using the steps close to the apartment. There is 68 steps that are quite steep and although not a problem for us something to take into consideration depending on your mobility.

Dimitra the owner, and Eleni are warm welcoming people in the genuine Greek hospitality tradition of Filoxenia, whose interest is only for their guests to have a relaxing and enjoyable stay making great memories. As testament my first interaction with Dimitra was to inform her my ferry would be arriving at 0500 (that's 5am for the Anglos), no problem we made a mutually satisfying agreement to leave my things in secure storage so that I could travel around the island unhindered for a full day before checking in. Kommeno is a very quiet and relaxing area, from Dimitra's apartments you have stunning views high above Dafnila Bay from Sunrise to Sunset. Located well for access to Corfu town/port and day trips to Paleokastritsa, Agios Georgios and North coast(Sidari\Kassiopi) which avoids back tracking. Dimitra has a small minimart onsite for general items, as well as private off street parking essential for Kommeno area. There are stairs right outside Dimitra's gate which lead down to 2 beaches Dafnila and Spilios both with pristine waters. No better way to start the day with an early morning swim with the abundant fish in these waters.

The apartment was less than what we were expecting, based on the photos online. The decor and furnishings were tired and mismatched. It was clearly a 1 bedroom apartment advertised as a two bedroom, with an uncomfortable lounge area and a kitchen that had not been used for a while. One bedroom had ample storage for clothes and the other had none... clearly meant to be the lounge. It was not the open plan, white apartment advertised online. We saw no dining options downstairs. The owner and family were friendly but sadly the accommodation was very disappointing. I would recommend that you ask for the specific photos of your accommodation before you arrive. I'm sorry, Dimitra, you were very friendly.

“Outstanding hospitality in beautiful location”

Outstanding hospitality in one of the most beautiful spots in Corfu. Dimitra and Eleni go out of their way to make you feel welcome in Dimitra's comfortable holiday flats. Stunning views over the bay and two very nice beaches a short walk down the stairs where you can rent a boat. There is also a convenient minimarket and a restaurant on the spot where Eleni prepares delicious meals - we particularly enjoyed the fresh fish which we had to order in advance. Thank you most warmly for a wonderful stay, Dimitra and Eleni!

This place is very beautiful, it has a great view of the beach, it was like a dream waking up in this view. It's amazing how much you get for the price. The location is very good for going to different beaches if you are by car, or there is a close beach by foot but the road is steep. They also have a restaurant and a small convenience store if you need anything.

“My stay at Dimitra Apartments was absolutely incredible.”

The location is fantastic - less than 5 minutes’ walk from the beach. Our sheets and towels were changed every three days, which was a lovely touch. Dimitra herself is an outstanding host: sweet, welcoming, responsive, and very kind.

“Stunning hospitality”

Beautiful (I mean astonishing) view to the bay, clean and spacey, well equipped apartment. But nothing compares to the niceness of the two ladies. They were incredibly helpful, always looking out for us. Genuinely friendly. We felt like home from day 1. I can’t really express how kind they were to us, how much they took care of us (and especially our kids) it can only be experienced. Thank you Ladies, we’ll never forget you!

Dimitra and her family of support were wonderful. Great view, amazing restaurant near. Beach just down front. Use of local resorts on day passes and water taxi old town. Great price for the location.

We had a great stay! The host Dimitra is a super host! Friendly, very helpful. The apartment was very clean, well equiped, large. Good air con, also mosquito nets. Was cleaned during our stay, the towels were changed after few days. The mini market downstairs was very convenient. Two good restaurants very near. And of course...the view!!! Also the lovely beach right below with clear shalow water. Would definately come back!

It was a lovely place. Clean, well furnished. Others mentioned the bathroom needed refurbishing, but the bathroom we found was brand new. The hosts were very kind and attentive and we're looking forward to going back

Great apartment in a good location for trips around the entire island. Peace, quiet and that beautiful view from the balcony. The owner - Dimitra very nice person, treated us to oranges and lemons from her garden. We received wine and water as a welcome. Thank you for your stay.

“Amazing staff and apartment bigger than expected”

Staff were amazing and nearby beach hotels were fine about us using their deckchairs. Apartment very clean and was serviced often - always plenty of towels etc. We got in late at night (close to 01:00AM) and Dimitra was helpful in guiding us. Didn't even have to cross a road for the beach, was quite close to 2 beaches owned by nearby hotels. Early morning walks every day were mandatory. Beach nearby didn't get too crowded and air conditioning in apartment kept us cool throughout our stay. Location was quiet unlike most of Corfu during peak holiday period.
