“Greek feeling”

Our stay in the apartment was wonderful. The small kitchen with a stove made it easier for us to prepare light meals and drinks when we weren’t able to go out. From the balcony, the most beautiful view unfolds – the deep greenery of the garden and the surrounding forests, with the sea in the background. Coffee on the terrace was a special delight. The room is comfortable, with wooden furniture that radiates cleanliness. Although the house has an old-school style, there is no plastic or other “modern” materials – everything is wood, ceramic, exuding cleanliness and a certain tranquility. Every other day, our room was cleaned and towels replaced, just like in hotels! The traditional Greek style of construction somehow connects you even more with the culture. The location is excellent. We had a car, and of course, there was parking in the yard. From there, we could easily reach anywhere we wanted. Nearby there is a small market and taverns. Depending on when you arrive, in the yard you can find figs, pomegranates, plums, and many other Mediterranean plants you don’t often see everywhere. The fruit is not sprayed with anything, so you can just pick a plum on the go and eat it right away without even washing it. Purely organic. Unlimited internet, hot water, and peace are also included. The owners are the perfect example of good hosts. Always present, they speak English, and are ready to help you with every little thing. People with soul, with beautiful Mediterranean azure-blue eyes, and hearts larger than Olympus – you’ll feel sorry when it’s time to leave, precisely because of them. The sweet fluffy dog, Arhedulis, rarely barks because he always carries a bone in his mouth. He is friendly, but you will rarely meet him because he is well-behaved and knows his place in the house. I had to go look for him just so I could cuddle a little.

My friend and I loved our stay at Athineous Apartments! Antigoni and her brother Alex are lovely welcoming hosts and went out of their way to ensure our comfort. I am recommending their place to all of my friends who visit Corfu.

The room was spacious and the hosts were really nice. The room was very clean and tidy. The view of the bay was great, sitting on the balcony was a good way to wind down after the day. The parking was good, and it is a really good base location to go around the island by car.

The hosts who did everything and more, the space, the balcony and the view, the aircon, bus stop was near and buses took us to Dassia beach and Corfu town. The apartment had everything we needed.

The balcony and sea views were amazing. The location is very good, getting to Corfu town and other places is easy. Bus stop is 50 metres away. Hosts are excellent, very friendly and helpful with anything you need. I ll stay there again .

My wife and I stayed in the apartment for 7 days in the second half of September. We got an apartment with an incredible view of the sea and greenery. Although the two of us toured Corfu all day, sitting on the terrace with coffee before the tour and wine afterwards made our stay unforgettable. The apartment is spacious and has everything you need. The cleanliness of the apartment was at a very high level, the towels were changed every day, and the bed linen was changed after 3 days. When we add to all that the extraordinary kindness of the hosts, our stay in this apartment was so pleasant that we will definitely return to Corfu again, preferably with the same hosts. We enjoyed a great stay at this venue given the central location on the island corfu and the cosy / lovely interrior. Our host and her family who happen to live with her in the very same building simply were adorable and amazing. We had nice conversations and got useful tipps for our stay on the island. Beautiful and super clean room with everything we needed. Andigony went above and beyond to take care of us and is truly an exceptional host. Location is a short walk from Gouvia town, with bus stop directly out the front with access to Dasia beach and connections to other beaches further up the coast. Also a good cafe and some excellent local taverns and gyros restaurants within 5 min walk. Overall an excellent stay :)

The property has everything you need if you are self-catering , it is in a good location with a few nice bars and restaurants within walking distance. There is a bus stop outside the apartments about 50m away and it takes you up to Ipsos and down to Corfu for very cheap. The rooms have air conditioning and light bedding which is good for the heat. It is basic but it is very good value for money with good prices and service. But the best thing about the property is the hosts. Andigony and Alex and family were exceptional hosts and offered anything they could. They were also very friendly and I was speaking to them for a long while. I also gained friends by staying here. I al definitely booking with this again when I next come to Corfu.
