“Amazing stay with beautiful views on the city!”

We stayed at Casa Katalina for a few nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary and had the most amazing time! The place has everything you need and you can see that thought has been put in all the small details to make your stay comfortable. The views from the balcony are absolutely breathtaking and I miss them already! But most importantly, our host Linda was so friendly, thoughtful and kind. She was there to help with anything we needed, give advice on things to do/visit, answer any questions! I can’t express enough how warm and welcoming she is, and she made us feel at home. We’ll be looking forward to visiting this beautiful gem of a place again!

“A great place to spent your holidays on Vis island.”

Casa Catalina is a new, modern apartment with tasteful furnishings. Beds super good. Kitchenette has everything you need. Apartment is everywhere very clean and well maintained. At the small balcony you can sit and eat, relax, with a look to the sea and island Bisovo - peaceful. Around the house is a lovingly designed garden. Linda is the very best host, always friendly and helpful. Thank you again, dear Linda, Hvala, hvala for the homemade treasures!!! To really enjoy your vacation, we think that Casa Catalina is the best place in Komiza.

“Perfect stay in Komiza”

Casa Katalina was the perfect place to stay in Komiza! Room was nice size, balcony and the view were great and the host lady Linda was super friendly and welcoming. I'd definitely stay there again!

I really enjoyed my time at Casa Katalina. The room I stayed in had a little balcony with a beautiful sea view. The bed was comfortable and everything was super clean. Linda (the host) is very friendly and caring. I definitely can recommend!

“Room with a view”

- the views! The pictures at right, you look out over town and the bay. - the room - clean and comfortable. Surprised to find extra facilities like a fridge, cutlery etc to make some easy (non-heat) meals. Loved this thoughtfulness! Other facilities were also available such as beach towels, laundry for longer stays etc - the welcome. Linda is a perfect hostess. She sat me down with a glass of limoncello and talked through all the ‘to-do’s in town and surrounds, and how to access them. She clearly grew up here and knows a lot - and was always available. As a solo female traveller hostesses like Linda are super precious and help with making ‘second homes’. Super warm-hearted and always looking out for her guests. - the location. Great to be just out of town. If you like adventurous hiking there is a path near the parking that goes up the hill and joins all the hikes there, or one from the road itself that runs behind the hotel and continues after becoming a dead end for cars. You can also easily access the beach, or the town.

We loved everything; the wonderful view over Komiža and the Adriatic, the spacious and clean room and most of all, our host Linda was incredibly welcoming and took great care of us. Vis and Komiža are great for a relaxed vacation on the beach or you can explore the island and participate in different outdoor activities. We did both during our stay :)

“Perfect views, great host”

Casa Katalina and our host Linda were excellent. Linda is definitely the hostess-with-the-mostess and will look after your every need. From a bus stop pick-up, sharing her herbs and limoncello (:-)), to small gifts as you depart, she really goes the extra mile. The rooms definitely have the best views in town and it’s only a short walk to the cafes, supermarkets and restaurants. A great place to base yourself when exploring the island of Vis.

Great location, clean and beautifully decorated apartment, extremely helpful, kind, and warm host... Casa Katalina made our summer more beautiful than we have expected. Marina and Linda were always helpful and made everything easy for us. Linda welcomed us with a tasty local vine and her self-made limoncello which was soo beautiful. She even gave us small presents on our last day when she kindly drove us to the bus station. We will always remember her beautiful and always smiling face. Komiza is a very beautiful city with many offers to explore the surrounding islands, boat tours, several restaurants and coffees, and a very beautiful sea. It's very close to Vis and the ferry station and you can reach there easily by public transportation if you do not travel by car. We stayed in the studio apartment with a sea view and it was beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. The apartment is located outside of the city center which makes it very calm, but it's also very accessible. It has a very beautiful garden with lemon and olive trees. There is a very beautiful beach nearby where you can swim in front of a historical church.

Localised in a quiet part of town but in a walking distance to the centre and the largest and very nice beach. Fantastic view from the terrace, green environment. Extreme hospitality and very friendly owners. They will tell you whatever you want to know about the places on the island and they will advise you the services optimal for you.
