Host is very attentive, breakfast and dinner is very good and homemade by his mother. We definitely recommend booking the shala river boat trip through him as it’s a good price and very convenient and we had a lot of fun. Highly recommend the property!

“Great hospitality”

We spent 2 nights to enable us to do the Shala river tour without rushing. Getting to the property was a challenging experience, but well worth it. With spectacular views over the lake and a welcoming and attentive host we really enjoyed our time there.

Location and staff.

The place was suitably wonderful in front of the lake. Full of nice plants Mario was very helpful.

Service was excellent, whatever question we had was responded immediately via WhatsApp. Food was excellent and authentic. Mario was very nice and also organised the boat trip for us. Fantastic view while we had our breakfast and very quiet room.

This place was absolutely incredible! The view was breathtaking! We watched the sunset and has a few dips in the Lake Koman. The host was welcoming, attentive and very nice. Felt very relaxed and had a great nighg sleep. Thank you for our stay, it was insane, would definitely go again.

Very nice room in very nice location. Very tasty breakfast :) Lovely, easy going host. Took such a great care of us. Dinner for additional cost was amazing! Would happily recommend to any future guests.

“Paradise”

Everything about this place is exceptional. The location is a dream. Mario and his family are so lovely. The food - dinner and breakfast, is amazing and all home grown. The room is spacious and immaculately clean. The cats are a wonderful company. Mario allowed us to stay on the terrace and sun beds after check out at no extra cost. We will definitely come back here.

Mario was a fantastic host, very helpful with organizing tours and transport for us. The room was everything we could have needed, and the dining and swim area was a great spot to relax. We decided to have dinner every night at Borealis, the food was traditional, fresh (most of which came from their garden, including the wine!) great value for money, and the view of the lake topped it off perfectly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anybody looking to stay in Koman.

“Excellent accommodation”

The property was in a really quiet and peaceful location. The room was a decent size. The food was delicious and we were provided with a much needed feast. The wine was exceptional 👌🏼. Very friendly and helpful service from Mario who provided assistance with getting us to the ferry terminal the next morning.

“Top idyllic guesthouse right at the lake”

Great location right at the lakesite. Private beach with free deck chairs and umbrellas right at the waterfront. Nice and friendly host. Good food. Pretty rooms. Highly recommended.

Great please near the look, exactly as it was in the pictures. The building is a walk down and it is separated from the main building. Mario is really friendly and helpful and on the shared terrace you cannot only the lake and surroundings but also have a chat with the other guests (if you want).

“Comfy stay with amazing views”

Location is amazing, right on the lake. Room is also right on the lake with a nice terrace. There is a small sun bathing deck and swimming area but water was a freezing cold. Serving breakfast and dinner which was good. Area is very calm, village vibe with some animals. They also organized a boat trip to Shala river

The hotel is near by the lake and you can take a refreshing bath, swimming in summer days

“Perfect and beautiful”

Located beautifully isolated on the bank of the river. The owner was super friendly and helpful. It was a beatific scenery to spend the afternoon and a great overnight stop on the way to shala river

“Short stay at Lake Komani”

Perfect location next to the lake. The water is cold, but that is normal. We had a very nice dinner and breakfast. The road towards Komani and Borealis is a little bit bumpy. But can be done with a normal car. Ask them to organize a trip on the lake.

“Unforgettable”

Maringlen, thank you so much for a magical stay. You were so kind and hard working. We can’t recommend this bucolic place enough. The breakfasts are so good - delicious Albanian pancakes, home reared honey, everything is natural and from the land. The family have put in so much effort to create this idyll. We rowed on the paddle boards, swam in the cold emerald lake (so refreshing), admired the mountains, climbed a waterfall, went to Shala river. For tranquility and beauty, there isn’t much better. I wish I had painted it.
