Extremely charming homestay at Kollund, very near of the German border crossing. Excellent location near the fjord cost with beautiful walking areas. Very nice rooms in the house with equpped kitchen and terrace. The point worth to come back sometime.

Communication and instructions were very clear. We met no staff, but the room was clean and fully prepared for our stay. Comfortable seats and beds, room 4 is quite big for 2 people, which is great. Small but clean and functional bathroom + wc. All as described. Although the main road through the village is right in front of the building, the windows are well sound-insulated and hardly any sound comes through

check in was a little difficult, we arrived early and couldnt get in, later we contacted the owner, after contacting we were let in, could be written in the check in proceedures that check inn only is possible after the check in time, that was 1500 hours, this way we wouldnt have to be concerned if we did anything wrong, and supsuquently contact the owner

The shower was exceptional and the bed very comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing with a movie on a large screen tv. Free parking in thw back yard came quite handy, and is just across the street from the beach, should you want to go for a walk.

A beautiful house with tastefully decorated rooms which would have deserved a much longer stay than my minimum sleep 'pit stop'
