Overview
Offering a day spa, a restaurant and a swimming pool with a swim-up bar, Rapopo Plantation Resort is located on the Island of New Britain. All rooms boast free WiFi and a balcony offering sea views. Guests enjoy direct beach access and free airport transfers. Unwind with a massage or beauty treatment at the Rapopo Beauty Spa, situated alongside the pool and bar area. Your included breakfast consists of a buffet featuring fruit, cereals, juices and your choice of eggs. All rooms feature polished wooden or tiled floors, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a refrigerator and tea/coffee making facilities. Each has a private bathroom, some offering a bathtub. Plantation Veranda Restaurant and Bar offers lovely views over the bay and serves an a la carte menu featuring International cuisine. Other on-site facilities include a scuba diving centre and a tour desk. Situated on the Gazelle Peninsula, Rapopo Plantation Resort overlooks the Simpson Harbour. It is a 6-minute drive from the Kokopo town centre. It is a 20-minute boat ride to the Watom Volcano Island. Free transfers are available to and from Tokua Airport with prior approval.

“Perfect seaside getaway”
The island setting right near the sea. Super friendly and welcoming staff. The spa. I was upgraded to one of the beach front bungalows. Just perfect listening to the lapping waves as I fell asleep and woke up. The Dolphin tour was wonderful!

I loved the welcome song for a start and as a first timer in Kokopo, rapopo. i loved the scenery and the garden and the general environment in the facilities. the sea view looking over to Mt Tavurvur was amazing too.
