Absolutely beautiful location, feels like you are in the middle of the countryside. We enjoyed the simple room and found it to be comfortable and clean. We tried the private and shared baths and found the private baths to have a nicer view. The host was able to provide a suitable dinner and breakfast bento for a vegan diet which was very appreciated.

The individual private onsen ponds are very nice. Maybe due to winter season there are not many guest thus the private ponds are always available.

Amazing place in the heart of the nature in Japan. The drive up the mountains to reach the accommodation is a absolutely stunning. Great value for money and we really loved all of the different on-site onsens that we tried. This was a highlight of our trip in Japan and well worth a detour to spend a few days in this amazing area.
