Beautiful location at the waters edge

One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was its beachfront location and the beautiful sea right in front of it. The view from our room was wonderful. Having a private beach area with comfortable sunbeds made our stay even more relaxing. The breakfast was very good and more than sufficient; we did not feel that anything was missing. Our room was also cleaned every day, which we greatly appreciated. The hotel has a very charming decoration, both indoors and outdoors, creating a warm and pleasant atmosphere. We would especially like to thank Angelina, who welcomed us in the lobby and was always friendly, helpful, and attentive to all our questions. The housekeeping staff were also very kind and professional. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. The hotel is also conveniently located, with easy access to the center of Vathy, which is only about 20 minutes away by car. We highly recommend Hotel Avlakia and would be happy to stay there again. 🌊☀️🏖️

Warm and cozy

A warm, family run boutique hotel in a quiet spot right on the waterfront just a few minutes from Kokkari. Clean rooms, crystal clear water nearby and tasty breakfasts every morning. Close to three restaurants. Thanks to Mihali and his family for a lovely stay!

Everything was perfect about the hotel. The staff, especially Angelina was so kind and helpfull. She is a queen 😍 The ambience was great. The room was perfectly sized and cleaned evey day. There is a lovely terrace in front of the beach. I wish I've arranged a longer stay. I absolutely recommend this place to stay in Samos.

You can choose this hotel to step out of your room and within seconds find yourself swimming in a breathtaking sea filled with fish of all different colors! The hotel has a stunning sea, an extraordinarily well-designed garden, incredibly helpful and friendly staff, and a fantastic location… For me, the most important thing was cleanliness, and I truly appreciated how meticulous the staff were about it; my room was spotless, and my bed smelled fresh like flowers. They have thought of everything you might need inside the room, which is decorated in a beautiful Mediterranean style. I absolutely loved the interior and exterior design, as well as the lighting inside the room, and the balcony felt as if every corner was specially designed for relaxation! But with such a beautiful sea waiting for you, I wouldn’t recommend staying inside the room too long :) Around the hotel, there are a few nice options for dining (mostly seafood), and you can also visit other nearby places on the island. There is also a parking area where you can leave your rental car. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

Loved everything🤩 we received a great hospitality.. location is quiet, relaxing yet very close to Kokkari.. even the wind was strong the sea was beautiful (at the same time lemonakia or kokkari beaches were very wavy).. breakfast has a variety of food.. hope to stay here again 🩷

“Relaxing holiday”

This place was amazing to stay. The location was perfect with a private beach. Really quiet and only 5 minutes drive to kokkari. The beds were really big and the beakfast was great. The host was also very kind. Didn't bother to make an ice coffee or something else. A few days it was really windy and at kokkari you would be blown away at the beach, but not at Avlakia! Also the airco and the outside shower were very nice.

Breakfast was very rich and delicious. Host was very kind and helpful, she kindly provided some vegan options per our request. Location is good that Kokkari is very close, 7-8minutes driving. Inner atmosphere and decoration of the hotel is very relaxing, you can enjoy anytime during the day. It was a very kind gesture from the host that she gave us nice presents while checking out.

We stayed in the Deluxe Triple Room with Sea View and it was great, much better than in the pictures! There are two rooms in the top floor and one of them looks at the sea and the mountains, I would recommend that one. The room is very luxurious and it has a huge private terrace. The terrace includes a sitting group, sunbeds, and tables and chairs, and it has a great view. You can definetely spend a lot of time there, eat and drink something and enjoy the view. Other than the room, the hotel has a private beach, the sea is very clear but rocky so you need sea shoes. The beach bar is good, they have not many but enough options for lunch such as club sandwich, greek salad, etc. The hotel staff were very friendly and kind. They even gave us little gifts after our stay! The hotel is a 10 minute drive from Kokkari. We used a taxi for both nights of our stay, it is 10 euros to Kokkari and around 25 euros for Samos center.
