Everything. Room, location, hosts. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. We loved our stay here. Only regret is not staying longer. The area is beautiful and I would highly recommend a vineyard tour with the hosts. Thank you for making our stay so memorable.

The hosts were incredibly welcoming, with great wine, and tasty breakfasts. We arrived on bikes, so we didn’t have the energy for excursions, but the beautiful evening views, the snacks and wine, the sunsets, and the birdsong made the evening truly special. We highly recommend this place and are very grateful for such a wonderful stay.

We had such a wonderful stay here! The family were incredibly welcoming, and the views over the area were absolutely beautiful. We opted for the wine tasting and were lucky enough to be there on the last day of the grape harvest which was such a treat to see and they talked us through the process. A lovely atmosphere and a highlight of our time in Slovenia so far. Highly recommended!

Beautiful location in the hills - lovely views. Great place to chill out for a couple of days after we had toured Slovenia. Had a lovely meal and winetasting. Children enjoyed the pool. We liked going over to Italy as well for pizza/shopping. Very friendly at the apartment.

The location is stunning and very peaceful. The owner is exceptionally accommodating and nothing is too much trouble. We loved the pool, the wine-tasting and dinner, breakfast was also excellent. It felt decadent but also in a homely way - perfect.

The view was beautiful, the pool was refreshing after our journey with a perfect view of the vineyards. The owners were so friendly & hospitable. Very generous & gave us tips on where to go for dinner & telling us scenic routes. Their wine is absolutely delicious & breakfast was exceptional with a variety of foods & local produce.

I have stayed in a lot of places in a lot of countries and I rate this as one of the most enjoyable experiences of the lot. We arrived on a disappointingly miserable day after having enjoyed a week of sun further north and were welcomed with open arms to warm us up. The property itself is perfect for a secluded getaway and a base to explore the region, and the room was just right, but really it was the family that made this. A glorious wine tasting (sympathetic to us having our young son with us), friendly conversation and exceptional hospitality is just what travel is all about.

“Beautiful stay at Valentina Guest House.”

It was unfortunate that we were only able to stay for one night. The property is excellently located and has really special views over the Brda landscape. We loved the tour of the wine bottling yard (with samples!) and everyone was extremely friendly. We will definitely return.

My friends and I chose Pintar Guest House when we have the wine tour to Friuli in the North Italian. At first we only think of Pinta as a pass-by night for my group. But the nice and unforgettable experience for us to stay at Pintar house, and the tasting with the family members from Pintar Estate impressed us a lot, thanks so much for this unexpected and meaningful meeting in Slovenia. Hope to see Pintar family members in future in China or Slovenia. the house also nice, clean, very cozy and lots of books there in the rooms as well. would recommend this guest house to any group especially those who love wines. also my group loved the nice woven goods, bought many for some friends, our friends in China loved those hand-woven designs so much.

“Your home away from home in the heart of Slovenia”

Was like being at home away from home: friendly and warm family that welcomed us like if we were long time friends; it was the time of harvesting grapes and we were able to take part in it, harvest, make wine, eat and drink, really well spent days! On top of that Pintar wine is incredible, the tasting is a must try, and the location is pristine and beautiful. The house is in nature, you can ask for electric mountain bikes to be delivered directly at home (weekends included) and you can explore the beautiful surroundings. A must stay, specially if you're looking for full and warm experience.

Lovely relaxing break, great hospitality, the highlight of our 18 days in Slovenia. Jelka is a superb host, with good suggestions for dining and exploring the beautiful area, and for her delicious breakfasts. Her charming daughter Tjasa hosted a wine tasting with cold cuts and very generous servings of their family wines, of which they are rightly proud. Highly recommended.

Everything was fine, friendly and helpful host. Excellent breakfast. The view over the Tuscan hills amazing. Sleeping in the tent in the vineyard an exceptional experience.
