Overview
Situated on Sairee Beach in Koh Tao, this resort features cottage-style rooms with garden, pool or sea views. Besides housing a beachfront restaurant, it features a dive school and an outdoor pool. Fitted with wooden floors, rooms at Koh Tao Coral Grand Resort feature bamboo ceilings and a private terrace. Equipped with air conditioning and a fan, they come with wood and stone bathrooms. Coffee/tea making facilities and a TV with satellite channels are included. Coral Grand Resort is a 15-minute drive from Koh Tao Pier and about 2 km from Mae Haad Bay. The location is fantastic. The bungalow was directly onto the beach which was idyllic.

“Could do with a renovation”
The place was okay, location was good, just a short walk to everything but far enough to be just out of the hustle and bustle during peak season. The pool was ok, nice and deep. They gave free transfer too and from the pier which was handy on our travel days.

“Disgusting”
We didn’t even stay one night here! Moth and bug infested room, we had to pay out of pocket to stay elsewhere and the guy on reception said we would be able to get a refund. Now they are not answering messages and booking.com have only reimbursed us £30 when we spent £160 for three nights! Old run down and dirty place.

Location is on a quieter part of the beach. Stunning entrance to beach in the morning. Pool is decent. Good if you want to stay small bit further from busier part

“For The Money, Look Elsewhere.”
The location is the only good thing in this very run down resort. A minute or two from Sairee Beach and away from loud music at night. The photos on the website are in no way reflective of the actual resort . The pool area whilst a good size, had lots of litter in the surrounding grassy areas and the water always appeared cloudy with lots of sand at the bottom.
