“The place I was looking for in Cambodia”

A really nice hidden Gem! Very relaxed and perfect place to let your soul rest. Shoutout to Matti for making me feel welcome from the very first second. The tents are not hot at all because they have a wooden roof so the sunlight doesn't go through.

Property with really friendly staff, food was amazing (they make everything to order). If you’re looking to get back to basics with no WiFi or service and just chill then I highly recommend to come here!

This is such a special place. For the first time in our three month trip, Crusoe felt like the first place we could properly, completely relax. The amenities are basic but just adds to the rustic, charming stay here, with tents and bungalows pitched on the shoreline. The beach is so peaceful and it has its own coral reef (that's not too deep) making snorkelling perfect. Although there are other locations nearby you can walk to for food, you won't want to leave Crusoe - the food is exceptional and also very catering for vegetarians. The staff were friendly and gave clear instructions for arriving/leaving. Without a doubt, we will be returning here.

“Absolute paradise, highlight of my trip”

I cannot properly describe the magic of this place. It is a complete detox, without trying to be. You are on a nearly empty island with no roads or establishments, the water is warm like a bath. The huts and tents are nestled into the jungle, a literal stone’s throw from a white, sandy beach. It is quiet. People at this camp/resort tend to snorkel, hike, and read in hammocks all day and not much else. The food is homemade and healthy. The staff are warm and accommodating. I originally booked for five nights, not knowing if I could handle much more in such a secluded area without getting bored. Within 5 minutes of arrival, I extended my stay. Don’t think twice- if you have come across this wild place in your search, you are meant to be here.

the place is just paradise! The people are the kindest and helpful with everything you might need. We felt really safe even tho it’s near the jungle. It’s the best place for relaxing and exploring beautiful nature.

We originally booked for 6 nights and ended up staying for another 6! Crusoe is absolutely amazing and the best way to get back into nature. The beaches and forests are breathtaking, and the water is clear and warm everyday! The facilities are perfect for the stay and the food is amazing, freshly cooked to every order. Pei, Sasha, Mati, and the family are so welcoming and make the stay even better with their hospitality!

“Dont doubt, just do it!”

We had a blast! Want to wake up and jump in the sea straight away? Want to spend your evening watching beautiful sunsets? Want to chill and rest, this is the place you need to be! We slept in a tent and couldn’t have had it better. We slept sooo good! Sasha and Matti made sure we had a good time! Showers and toilets are basic, but clean! We had worse in SE-asia.

The family & staff who run the place are very welcoming and look after you! The location on the island is paradise and very laid back!

I do not know how to write it. If I praise a place too much, more and more people will go there. And the place loses its authenticity and charm and eventually disappears. And I really wouldn't want that in the case of Crusoe. Four days that filled us with energy, without news from the world, without the noise of cities. And as a bonus with the wonderful people who take care of the running of this little paradise. Thank you Simona

“Cruseo is paradise”

Cruseo is paradise - the place is just something so rare and you can find great beauty everywhere - the corals, the cliffs, magic plankton, the light blue ocean and the clean and almost white sand. The lovely hosts made it possible to feel like home in the middle of nature - everything is super comfy and clean, created with love for details. They also serve food and it's one of the best we had in cambodia - many different options, big portions, fresh and just yummy. We also took walks around the island, and all of it is interesting to explore but seeing the other hotels and hostels there, we found that cruseo is just something else. Best location near elephant rock and cleanest beaches with most beautiful trees and jungle behind to explore. Also there are not too many people as they have limited space which is great - beach all for your own! We can't recommend enough to experience a stay here and get to know this great family.

“Paradise for relaxation!”

The place is PERFECT if you really want to relax and have some down time. No wifi available (sim card works but we don’t have one) and the lights go out after 10pm. No electricity, only solar power but you can recharge your devices in the common area. We had a bungalow (without toilet) and it was really nice! Mosquito net worked great and when the bungalows next to ours (which had a toilet&outdoor shower) were not occupied they let us use the facility’s which was really nice as our bungalow was furthest away from the shared bathrooms. The staff in general is very nice. The food is DELICIOUS and reasonably priced. Try the Mayo bowl ;) The hammocks are amazing and the place is really quiet and relaxing. Games are available and there is a volleyball net. You can rent snorkeling gear which we recommend, the reef is really nice! And then just grab a beer and watch the sun go down :)

Wonderful stay, right on the beach with only the sound of the waves lapping against the sandy shore. We stayed in an old wooden boat that had been converted into bungalow accommodation. It was so cool! We could literally step from the boat and into the sea. Fantastic atmosphere. It was like living on a desert island, with long sandy beaches shaded by tall palm trees. The showers and toilets were basic, but added to the eco friendly, off grid, get away from it all experience. Very quiet and relaxing with great staff who went out if their way to be helpful and friendly. Also, the food was excellent It really was a wonderful experience all round.

Crusoe is perfect if you are looking for a calm place, without distractions, just nature. Expect back to basic, maybe even no internet access. We were delighted to experience the calmness of life again, haha. Also the food is really delicious! And if you are into snorkeling, youll be happy!
