Local family owned hostel that were the loveliest, most accommodating people who were able to help me out with anything I needed throughout my stay. The location is close to the beach and nearby a mini mart and other good food options. Rooms were great with ac!

Blue Zone Hostel is run by a warm and welcoming family who embody true hospitality. They were always on hand to help guests with anything they needed and always up for a good chat. On top of that there's delicious food and drinks available on site, the property is cosy and in a prime location: close to the beach, restaurants and Nestival, yet still quiet enough to relax. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place!

“A fantastic family run hostel that will make you feel at home.”

Absolutely loved everything about the hostel. Darra and his family made us all feel so welcome and were on hand to help with absolutely anything we needed. The food is also fantastic and it is great place to have a beer before you go out. The location is perfect with it being right to next to Nest but still relaxing and quiet. Would highly recommend.

Good stay for the Nestival. Owner is very friendly. Beds are comfy.

Dara who runs this hostel is a gem he’s super helpful and made us feel really welcome

We loved our stay here. Dara & his family are great hosts and very welcoming. The dorm was clean and airco worked well. The showers weren’t warm but they weren’t ice cold eithet, and with island weather thats totally fine. Limited food options available at the hostel which tasted great. Location is good & no trouble from nest(ival)

The staff were very nice, allowing me to stay as long as I needed and always helpful and friendly. Would recommend staying as it is very good value.

The host is amazing nice , the location is 200 meters from the beach, the beds were comfortable and the vibe was great

I had the most amazing 2 week stay here. Dara and everyone is so welcoming and always going above and beyond to help with anything you need - whether that be laundry, transport or even replacing my bedsheets throughout my stay. The food is amazing too! I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Close to the beach and the Nest hostel, a relax place during the day and party during the night, particularly during the wkd with the Nestival. The great point is that even if it close to the Nestival, the noise is ok during the night when you want to sleep

Top Service, very caring

The rooms are some of the most comfortable we have had in over 2 months all over SEA. AMAZING AC, big comfortable beds, black out curtains, multiple charging points per bed. Dara and his family are so kind, generous and really lovely. There is a very nice vibe to this hostel and everyone we met were very friendly. We really enjoyed our time here. It is also 3 minute walk from Nestival and a 20 minute walk to Ko Long (the town with all the supermarkets and cheaper restaurants). If you stay the other side of the beach all the restaurants are much more expensive with no supermarkets.

I love the air conditioner , the mattress was perfect , and family host they are amazing and they help me a lot . High recommend this awesome hostel , they have also amazing private rooms
