“Stunning beach and amazing value”

We had a great time at Sunny Bungalows. It’s super affordable considering the location and compared to other hotels nearby. The bungalows are like 30 m from the beach. The property is in a great spot close enough to restaurants and bars, but away from the busy tourist areas. We practically had the beach to ourselves around the bungalows, which felt incredible. The beach itself is absolutely stunning. The bungalow was basic but comfortable. Since you are surrounded by nature, you should expect to hear animals during the night, but we didn’t have any issues inside apart from a harmless gecko. They provide plenty of drinking water and a kettle, which we really appreciated. The lady at reception was extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay. There is also a diving shop on-site, so it’s a great place if you want to try diving. The property is also on the path to Sunset Beach, which makes for a lovely short walk. One thing to be aware of: there are sandflies on the beach, and their bites can be a nightmare, so bring repellent if you can.

Located a 1 minute walk from the beach front so was nice a peaceful and surrounded by lovely plants. Room was provided with a mosquito net and a large blue contained full of drinking water.

Located near the pier so you can carry suitcase easily to/from hotel. Great bar at the front. Mosquito nets worked, except first nigh I slept my my finger under/against it and got lots of bites. Other nights I positioned myself more center. Fan was enough to cool down during night time, but at the day time the room, especially bathroom was hot. Big jug of water on the balcony to fill up the bottles. No restaurant at the hotel but there is one next to it. Bed was comfortable, but the bed sheets didn't want to stay in form.

It's a lovely space and the owner is so so friendly! You're at a beach and the island only has cold water but considering the challenges of that, they have gone above and beyond to make it a lovely space!

It is close to the pier and walking distance to other restaurants and bars.

Great location, staff super helpful, decent value for price we paid. We were provided with a 20L drinking bottle of water and they sorted out transfer when boats couldn’t land at nearest pier.

Wow, where do I start? From the cutest local dogs to Jungle Steve the ginger cat. Perfect little oasis. You can wander to the closer areas for bbq and cheap cocktails. Only a 25 minute walk to the lovely Sunset Beach. Staff treat you well. Thank you for recovering our bag. Overall, would definitely recommend. 😎

The bungalow we had was basic yet it has everything a traveller might need : a comfy bed with a mosquito net, bedside tables with power sockets, some places to leave stuff, an ideally placed fan to refresh the bed, a good bathroom, and drinkable water. As a bonus, it is quite well decorated ! The family that kept the bungalows was friendly and accommodating, and there's a very nice bar to get drinks. Finally it's ideally located to explore Koh Rong Sanloem island and near great restaurants. Overall it's exceptional value for the price compared to nearby resorts.

Its next to the highclass hotels so clean beach and good restaurants nearby. Staff was very friendly and took care of all we needed. The price is compared to other accommodation cheap. Its also very quiet

Sunny bungalows are comfortable and have everything you need. It's very close to the beach at prime location. I got great help from them assisting me on buying ferry and minivan tickets. Friendly nice people. Great restaurants just steps away.
