“Charming rustic stay in a beautiful setting. But the rooms could use some slight improvements”

Sunset beach is a beautiful and remote location and during our stay in SunBoo (early May) we had the luxury to have it almost to ourselves. There is a super nice common area/ dining room where you can relax & eat with sea view. The staff are very friendly and attentive (for example by bringing you a new bottle of FREE filtered cold water every time you finish yours). They have two dogs and four cats roaming around, a plus for animal lovers. The menu was extensive and the food was outstanding (for example fresh fish and pizzas) and very reasonably priced - something we later found very rare in Koh Rong Sanloem!

Great location, perfect stay to regenerate, with little internet access, good food/drinks, optimal location on sunset beach and its activities (snorkeling, kayaking). The team is very welcoming and makes its best to make you feel at home.

Fantastic location on a beach that is quite isolated. The beach is beautiful. Clear water, sunset views, snorkelling right on your doorstep. The staff are all great, so friendly and helpful. Fabulous pizzas. Cool beach cocktail bar with a fine selection of cocktails to enjoy as the sun goes down. Great cappuccino next door and also some other eating places on the beach for variety. Free water every day as well as beach towels. There are also yoga classes if you wish.

An idyllic location away from any resorts. The food was absolutely incredible and the bungalows were lovely. The constant availability of water was brilliant.

“Sunboo is a little slice of paradise”

Sunboo (and Sunset Beach) is a wonderful, secret paradise! The relative inaccessibility of the beach makes it all the more special, with half a dozen or so businesses along the beach feeling more like a beach village than a tourist strip. If you want a corner of the world relatively untouched, with limited wifi yet still with all life's creature comforts (good food and cocktails! comfy beds with mosquito nets! snorkels, kayaking and games!), then this is the place for you. Paulo and his team are incredibly kind and hospitable, and really made our stay.

The location, the restaurant, the staff, the books and games available, the cats, the food…We arrive with the taxi boat and left by foot, the path is more than ok, just a bit steep at the beginning, but we ropes to help. Obviously you need to know you are between the jungle and the sea, it’s the beauty of the place.

Location on sunset beach was perfect. Restaurant and bar were great and offered great selection. Room and bathroom were very clean Central location on beach an easy to walk there from ferry and to get to other bars and restaurants on the beach. Staff lovely and helpful.

“Do not miss staying here”

This is the tropical paradise you have always dreamt of! Beautiful communal areas, kayaks, SUPs, flying fish? Incredible sunsets and chilled out really helpful staff. Paulo was really interesting to talk to To ask all those why what were questions and deeper stuff about local issues and politics, we really appreciated his time. Amazing two hour yoga sessions on beach front Shala with beautiful Cory were a great start to the day. The jungle is verdant and has walking trails to other beaches. It was like a dream being here

We liked everything about our stay, it's an oasis of calm, food to die for, great cocktails and just, so very, very chilled (including the showers). Grab a Khmer Push coffee from the boys in the shack next door but most of all, just enjoy what is a little bit of heaven.

Island idyll! Beautiful location, wonderful staff did everything to make your stay better and feel welcomed. Dorm facilities good, with plenty of space, my bed bit sunken in the middle. Appreciated the toiletries which were wonderful. Food delicious! Path down as expected and hard work in the rain with even a small pack, fighting the mozzies. I got lost twice on way back and ended up at wrong pier and had to walk along beach again🙄. Sunrise yoga was perfect, snorkelling off the rocks was amazing. And sunset, well, it is sunset beach!

“Paradise!”

This place might be the best stay during my Cambodia trip! Pure paradise. All the staff members were great and make you feel at home. It takes a 30 minute walk through the jungle but it is all worth it! Escape from the crowds and just enjoy a very pure lifestyle. The beach was clean, had the best views especially during sunset. Could stay here for another week!
