A slice of paradise. This apartment is located on M’pai bay which is a lovely area with a variety of delicious restaurants, bars, and a the best beach we have ever been on. This apartment is spacious, comfortable and everything you need for a relaxing stay. The owner Sharon has been the most helpful host we’ve come across during our travels helping us with information about ferrys, where to eat and what to do. She has made our stay so amazing. Couldn’t recommend this apartment enough. There’s also the most amazing sunset across the road in the bok bowie bar.

“Beautiful House, Beautiful Garden, Beautiful Hosts!”

Beautiful house and garden and very helpful, friendly hosts. The house is a few minutes walk to the main drag and beaches and opposite are some great spots for eating, drinking and fabulous sunsets. All the rooms are very spacious with floor to ceiling double glazed doors, windows and most importantly blackout curtains and blinds to keep the heat out, but the house is well positioned and has lots of shade planting, so full sun into the rooms is limited. There is very good air con in the bedroom and the house stays cool for a decent number of hours after turning off the air con. There is also a large floor fan, a small fridge and a water filtration system. The outdoor area is totally private and features a lovely seating area, which has built in L-shaped seats making it very easy to either sit or lounge surrounded by nature, as well as an outdoor fan, which provides a veery welcome breeze. We felt very lucky to find such a gem on the island.

A great place in a great location. Roomy and quiet, yet only a 2-minute walk to anywhere you need to be in Sanloem. The hosts are super and always at hand to provide all necessary info for arriving/departing the island and great tips for food/drinks at other establishments. They also own the beautiful bar across the way from the house (Bar Bok Bowie), probably the best place to see the sunset in chill mode (3 amazing viewing/relaxing terraces). Have a bite there, a drink, and enjoy nature at its best.

The perfect getaway in beautiful Mpai Bay. This little house was exactly what we needed. The interior is lovely, but we spent 90% of our time on the fantastic terrace. It’s the perfect spot for morning coffee or a glass of wine. If you want a peaceful, private space with a great outdoor area, book this place now!

Clean and very spacious with a great outdoor seating area which was very private. Location was great - just a five min walk to the beach and the pier where the ferry comes in. The hosts, who also run the bar opposite, were very friendly and helpful and gave us some great recommendations on where to eat.

This guest house is a hidden gem in M-Pai Bay! Don‘t hesitate and book this if you want to visit this part of the island. The owner Sharon is such a sweetheart and her place has the best value for money. It has hot water, air conditioning and even a kitchen. Besides, I really liked the minimalist, modern interior design of this place.

There are not enough words to say all the positive things about this stay. To begin, the hosts are great with communication from the minute you book and ensure you have all the information you need. They helped to give me the necessary information on what ferry to take and how to meet them to take the keys. They own the bar just across from the lodging so they are easily available if needed (the bar has the best sunset on the water on the whole island). I stayed for an entire week and the place was as if it was a new house in a modern city. I say this because the island is quite remote and most lodging is backpacker style. I did go to the neighbor island for one night and had the worst experience with lodging quality so I know that House Bok Bowie really is the BEST option available. Great set up, hot water, air conditioning, area to relax outside, wifi. It had it all. I was told where to eat (all places were great) and even after leaving they messaged me to give recommendations for my next place of travel. I can't wait to go back

We loved our time at House Bok Bowie! It was refreshing to have an Airbnb-style place all to ourselves, which we didn’t expect to find on the island! Our hosts were lovely and provided us with lots of great tips on things to see and do. You can snorkel right next to the house and access everything on the island easily.

The place is so Nice! Its owned by a couple from England and the Netherlands. They are the sweetest. They speak perfectly English and they speak khmerian to, so they can speak with the locals if needed. The place is just a few hundred meters from the main pier in a amazing village. The house it self is right across their bar which has the best view for relaxing and seeing the sunset 😃 The room it self is an stylish room without been over styled. It is clean and if you want to, you can ask for getting it cleaned. But we didn’t used that during our stay, because it wasn’t necessary. I can’t recommend this place more if you are looking for a place where they have everything under control and just want to relax Thanks again 😃

Super great location, the house is beautiful and special mention for the terrace where you can enjoy fresh air. You have intimacy while being close to the beach and all the facilities. Sharon and Jon were really friendly and provided great recommendations and services so we could enjoy our full journey there (boat, taxi, restaurants, laundry, arrival and departure). This.is good value for money! Last but not least, the Bok Bowie bar is perfectly located to watch the sunset, beautiful spot with nice drinks! Super uncomplicated check-in and check-out (highly appreciated after some time travelling). Hosts very friendly and always available for any questions. the place itself is super nice: amazing outside Patio, good bed and well functioning air condition. location is good close to the pier and local life but still a bit private. would definetely choose this location again.
