“Lovely huts in front of the beach”

We were lucky to stay here during New Year’s Eve. The place is run by Suzie and her son Matt, a lovely family who truly make you feel at home. The huts have everything you need: a comfortable bed, mosquito net curtains, and a hammock. There’s also a beautiful common area right in front of the beach, perfect for relaxing and watching the sunset. Such a lovely place that we enjoyed it so much we extended our stay for two more days.

Matty and his mom were super nice, welcoming and very helpful. The bungalows had a very nice location right at the end of the beach, which made it feel a bit more secluded but still close to everything. The value for money was really good. The bungalow has everything you need plus a nice terrace with a hammock…and the place host karaoke nights as well, which was a lot of fun! Would definitely recommend.

“Amazing!”

The place and the people are just AMAZING and very social! They started it with their heart and love for this island. Really good accomodation, i slept in the private room and also the double room bungalow. I was sick for 2 days but the people were very lovely and helpfull. Because of the heavy waves some boats were cancelled, but even with that they were always flexibel and thinking with you in opportunities. An absolute recommendation!

I loved how spacious and spotless the bungalow was. The location couldn’t be better, tucked away in a quiet corner of the beach so you get peace and privacy, yet very close to the village where you can find all you need. The owners are kind and welcoming. Warm, laid-back vibe that made it easy to relax.

“Cute beachfront property with comparatively decent pricing”

It's nice to be able to tumble out of bed, walk just a few short steps, and arrive on the beachfront. I appreciated the greenery, and listening to the songbirds in the trees. I enjoyed the wooden decor vibes of the rooms. Matty, the front desk clerk, is just the sweetest.

I had a great stay at Cocohuts! Suzy was very welcoming and thank you Meggie for showing me around M'Pai Bay! The location of the hostel is amazing, directly on the beach!

“Great stay, will come back”

Everybody was awesome, the staff give good restaurant recommandation, organise activities, boat tours, Gavin at the reception gave me a little heads up via booking before I arrived for the boat company I had to take to reach Mpai bay without extra costs (buva sea or gtvc). The place is clean, gorgeous and everybody is so helpful and great. I loved my stay there so much I extended 4 more nights. It's also a good place to work if you have some work to be done, it's very chill and quiet during the day.

Matt and Suzi are both very friendly and welcoming guests.

“Good value accommodation in a fab location”

Amazing beachfront location within a small island village. Basic accommodation but great value for the price and our hut had all the main amenities. Lots of reasonably priced restaurants and bars on the beach and in the main village a few minutes walk from CocoHuts. Very welcoming staff who had extensive local knowledge.

Suzi was very friendly and lovely. She helped us a lot and the location in front of the beach is great. Water refill station and cozy common area.

Stayed in the huts . This island is special. That's why we are looking for accom. Suzi is over nice and helpful. After staggering off the boat a cold beer was awaiting. A great team with her too. A true jungle island experience! for sure. You will forget the day you are on early on. But it has to be remembered you are on a jungle island ..... prepare for that. I did and stayed much longer. The village of M'pai is a delight. It is the sole reason why you should stay there and no where else. Beach , Sea - a whole inch away from the front of place. Suzi and team i will return after Xmas in UK.

Great location and pretty setting. Friendly and helpful staff. The hut was nice and big.

I had an amazing stay here and ended up staying here for 1 week. Suzie is also super friendly and helpful. And the location is perfect at the beach.

Beautiful beach front hostel. Suzy and Clara were lovely. Always checking you were ok or if you needed anything. Very relaxing place.
