The friendly staff, the breakfast included - lots of options, mostly involving egg and banana etc, the proximity to Charlie beach, the room was comfortable. Fridge and kettle in the room so handy for drinks and occasional pot noodle dinners. It’s very beautiful too, great gardens, flowers, trees, lizards etc. A lovely place to stay overall. We enjoyed swimming in the pool every day too!

Nice basic budget rooms in bungalow with free breakfast. Very nice staff, good location, good free breakfast, decent pool, we enjoyed our stay.

“Better options available now.”

We had stayed before in these rooms so knew what to expect. That was 7 years ago and it looked exactly the same. No improvements, not refreshed or updated. The position is great, furniture needs repairing, new bedding needed. There are probably newer, better fresher properties being built over the last few years.

“I only stayed 2 night but would have been perfect for another two.”

It was quiet. They have a lovely heated pool. Staff were exceptional. Took me to the beach and back or to the shops. You can hire a motorcycle. Free breakfast. They will make lunch but not dinner. It’s in between Charlie beach and Sivalai beach. Getting a lift from a taxi is 50baht 🙏🏽

“A lovely island to e plo”

A free basic breakfast was provided which we were t expecting. The accommodation is walking distance (without luggage) from the harbour and beautiful beaches. From Charlie’s beach, the boatmen will take you on a private boat trip and provide snorkels and life jackets. Well with the money if you pay the boatman directly. Great restaurants very nearby.

“Nice and quiet”

The resort is located in “the middle” of the island, tho Charlie beach is 10min away and the main beach (with the village) 25min away. The island is small (you can walk everywhere) so the location doesnt play any (crucial) role. The place is calm and in general not noisy, however there is a bar across the “canal” which sometimes plays some music, but its not really disturbing. The bungalow 3 where I stayed has a nice view over the pool and a REALLY comfortable bed (including mattress and pillows - pillows are softer and thinner than in most of the other places where I stayed). The staff is friendly and very responsive if you need anything. The younger guy is specially nice and his english is decent (Noone else really speaks it). The AC seems to be new and it works perfectly. Everyday you can get complimentary bottles of water. Bungalow was super clean!

The staff was super helpful in dealing with the issue we encountered. Garnet Beach is relatively close to the property and you can rent a bike directly at the property. Very peaceful area immersed in the jungle.

Wonderful host who went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. The rooms are clean and comfortable set within the forest. The place is located a walk away from the best beach on the Island (Charlie beach)

“Family holidays Family holidays with celebration birthday 2026”

This is our first family holiday in 2026 and the celebration of my husband's birthday, the staff and owner are very friendly they arranged complimentary cake and given some idea how to surprise my husband on birthday, we stay 3days at this resort, due to I'm driving from Kuala Lumpur to Trang it take 18 hours long drives we getting tired on the first day not much activity and time to explore the koh mook, will repeat again next time with proper plan, thank to BIK for prompt response on my questions as other can't communicate in English,

This place has loads of pros and cons, although said 'Resort' you should consider it's located just in the middle of a wild island, so you might expect animals, insects, hot weather, rain and humidity. The facilities were basic, and mostly like a rural cottage but very close to the beach and town. The staff there was the star, they were helping and trying to make you feel comfortable despite the rustic or, at times, wild conditions. They helped us many times with our room, insects or even advice about town. There was also a lovely breakfast every day and a swimming pool. I recommend this place if you're alright dealing with random reptiles, loads of insects and wild nature conditions but love to enjoy a nice morning coffee and a short distance to the beach. Thanks you guys!

i loved the area very peaceful in a beautiful area of the island we got a scooter and went around the island the breakfast was good the staff amazing the pool for me was the best I was in a good few times a day, if i go back to the island i will stay here
