The staff and the owners were the best! They're honestly so sweet and caring. They are very hard working and go above and beyond. The room was very small but apart from that erything was great. I would stay again but next time book a bigger room.

The hosts were fantastic!! So kind and helpful. Room clean, very comfortable bed (best sleeps so far in Thailand), powerful shower, use of free bicycles was ideal (used them everyday to get around), no need for a moped. We also used them for laundry service which was done with great care. Location was perfect (right in between sunrise beach and sunset beach). Little bars and cafe on your doorstep. Next door (the hosts sister) you can book day trips, yet again so lovely and great service! All for a very good price. Super happy with our stay.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The room was really nice and super clean, the bed was very comfortable, you have a fridge and a kettle in the room which is great. It's quiet at night. The owners are the most welcoming people, really going the extra mile to make you feel good at their place. You have access to free bikes which is great cause it's the best way to move around the island. We highly recommend this place.

“OK for a few days”

The location is good: close to the center (and the pier), but far enough away to guarantee a good night's sleep. Handy mini-market downstairs. Free bikes a major plus - especially since Charlie Beach is at least 30 minutes away on foot, which was further than we expected .... Great breakfast spot right across the street and proximity to other restaurants. Surprisingly good beds! Friendly owner (like everywhere in Thailand), who called on our behalf when they forgot to pick us up for the ferry.

We booked four nights but we enjoyed our stay so much that we added a fifth! Everything was perfect. We loved being able to borrow bikes for free and used them every day to go to Charlie Beach! The owners are very friendly and also run a mini-market, which is very convenient. We also booked an excursion with them and it was great. The restaurant right across the street is fantastic! The room and bathroom are simple but have everything you need, and we appreciated having water and coffee every day. We highly recommend it!

I really enjoyed staying here. I got upgraded of my bungalow for free and it was just great. You have daily cleaning, fresh towels and water. Small fridge and air conditioning. Location is also great in walking distance to restaurants and bars. Also if you are coming by ferry just take a local taxi for 50bat to get to the hotel. It’s a nice location if you want to stay in quiet place. In shop they have everything except alcohol, but if you need you can find in any other shop near by.

Great location, beautiful rooms, spotless and with AC. A hidden gem, thanks to Cat and her fabulous family for the best stay. You can book boat trips, hire a scooter and bikes for free. Highly recommend.

Lovely little friendly place with very comfy bed. Enjoyed our stay here im mumzai2 for 3 days. Could have stayed longer.

We stayed, unexpectedly, in the newly built part of the accommodation. . This part of the accommodation was self standing units which were very clean and emmaculately presented. The hosts had laid the room out brilliantly. They were very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. There is a small newly built swimming pool for use. The location is central but also on the edge of the center so avoids the noisier area whilst only being a few minutes walk away. Bikes are available for use. Free of charge which was an added bonus. We would gladly stay here again.

The family was so nice and helpful. We felt so welcome. The rooms were nice as well and in decent shape (not fancy but still nice). We had a lovely time here. Also good location between Charlie beach and the area with restaurants.

Location of Mumzai House was fabulous. It was located right in the centre of the village. With easy access to everything. The family all helped to look after us. And arranged everything for us. Motor bike hire. And ferry transfers, in-between bad storms. Something that we could not achieve by ourselves! Also they helped us obtain cash when the ATM was not working. A wonderful beautiful island. And we believe we chose the best accommodation the island has to offer. 10 out of 10.
