The bungalows are nice and functional with and incredible location! Not as many mosquitoes as I would’ve expected, however there is a cover so you can sleep in peace. You can feel the nature and enjoy the beautiful and quite beaches! The restaurant was the best we tried in the island and we kept deciding to come back. The people was really nice and welcoming! They can help with moto taxis to the port, and also rent motorbikes. We would recommend this place and are looking forward to returning!

We loved the whole team working there, they were so friendly and welcoming. It may not be the type of place for everyone, as there’s only limited times with electricity in the huts, so no fans for night time, and very rustic huts, but we absolutely loved our hut.

Staff couldn’t do enough to help you, fantastic service. Unfortunately all the huts and bungalows were full so we stayed in the block of rooms which were still good but quite warm with only a fan but there was the AC option for a bit more money. Still enjoyed our stay and the room was great for the stay. Great location and great places to sit and relax facing the beach in the restaurant.

The people at Sunset Bungalow were all very friendly and accommodating, and in my opinion, they had the best food. I've never been greeted so warmly on Koh Phangan or anywhere else. The beach is also very nice. I will definitely go back.

“A lovely paradise”

I loved my stay at Sunset Bungalow—unfortunately far too short. I arrived the day before Christmas, and they kindly upgraded me to an amazing bungalow right in front of the sea. The food is truly delicious and varied, with very fair prices for the island, and they offer many vegan options. The lovely elderly woman who started this place 30 years ago with passion even repaired a large tear in my sarong for free, carefully machine-stitching it herself. Such a rare and touching gesture. I also met a German man who has been coming here for 24 years—very telling of the place. The place is peaceful and quiet, with a beautiful beach right in front. At the same time, there are other restaurants and small shops within walking distance (about 15–20 minutes), which makes the location very convenient. I really appreciated their commitment to reducing plastic on the island, offering a paid water refill service instead of plastic bottles. The relaxed common area with books, and all the small details—drawings, paintings, and handmade touches—give this place a beautiful, warm energy.

Beautiful spot. The restaurant area and terrace are nicely decorated. Staff is very polite, flexible, available and easy going. It's a beautiful beach with a nice and raw beauty, jungle is beautiful also. I have good times there and beautiful memories

The area was really cool and nice vibe from the place and the family. Even tho they island feels isolated there were several guest there. Very comfy great view, amazing corner by the bar amd beach where u can lay down an read, many books there. I really like the place. To get to the bungalow amd back to pier cost 100 baht. At pier there r people who can take u there amd from bungalow they arrange one for you. Also u can rent a bike from sunset bungalow which can be bought to the pier. I would not recommend to drive there tho unless your are doin it for year. Not everywhere is Asphalt, its hilly depending where u r goin and slippery. I was glad when I decided to walk instead the bike after seeing the roads.

“Place for tranquility seeking coffee lovers”

Staying at Sunset Bungalows is an exceptional experience. Nature lovers get rewarded by the jungle feeling and tranquility. The bungalows are simple but have all you need. Located on the beautiful Long Beach, there is always a phenomenal view no matter what time it is. It is also great to get to know people, but it was never crowded either. Food was phenomenal and it is a go to place for coffee lovers. Staff was friendly, helpful and they even remember your preferences, e.g. for me it was extra spicy no tomatoes which I did not even need to mention after the second time.

Everything! The resort is run by a lovely family, the food is fresh, tasty and excellent value. Rooms are comfortable and clean and there are plenty of areas to lounge around. WiFi is pretty good considering.
