Overview
Boasting 3 hot-spring baths and traditionally styled rooms with views of the Japanese garden, Yanagiya is located in a quiet area just a 10-minute bus ride from JR Kofu Train Station. Free Wi-Fi is available at the lobby. Guests at Yanagiya Inn sleep on a tatami (woven-straw) floor in Japanese-style futon bedding. Each room has a private bathroom with toiletries and slippers, and an electric kettle and a mini-fridge are included. Maiduru Castle Park is a 10-minute drive from the inn, while Lake Chiyoda and Zenko-ji Temple are both a 15-minute drive away. On-site parking is free. You can enjoy a relaxing massage, sing karaoke or visit the sauna when not soaking in the natural hot-spring baths. In addition to indoor and outdoor baths, a bath can be reserved for private use for an extra charge. Carefully prepared seasonal dishes made from fresh local ingredients are offered for the traditional Kaiseki dinner. Along with the set-menu Japanese breakfast, it is served at the dining room. Check-in is possible until 22:00 for guests who will not eat dinner at Yanagiya.

“Nice Ryokan located at a Onsen street Nice ryokan located at a Onsen street”
The staff were friendly, when we arrived we were greeted by a staff who directed us to the lobby and assisted with our luggage The room was nice had a nice outdoor area which you could sit outside to admire the cherry blossom tree but a little small for 4 adults. We booked the room with meal plan ie dinner and breakfast included , it was nice and tasty The free internet was ok but had some issues later as the connection became spotty. Overall had a nice stat with my family

“Super beautiful ryokan, slightly inconvenient location”
The ryokan itself was really nice, with a beautiful pond! The staff was super friendly and the food so delicious (although a little too filling for most of my friends haha)

“A quiet and comfortable ryokan in the hot springs district of Kofu”
This is a gracious ryokan tucked away in a tiny back street in the hot springs district of Kofu. It looks old, but is scrupulously clean and comfortable. The reception area looks out onto a Japanese garden with a small pond with koi carp. The room was a spacious 10 mat size and very comfortable, and as well as an alcove, there was a wooden balcony with outside seating. Breakfast and dinner were served in the restaurant, you had your own table with your name on it, and the food was excellent. The onsen was wonderful, male and female baths were swapped during the day so you could have a different experience.

“Excellent ryokan, but the rotenburo should be repaired and the dining room should be made warmer.”
The garden and patio attached to the room where we could see Quince fruit growing on a tree. The outer part of the room near the garden was also excellent, and the room size was large. The staff were also very nice.
