“Exceptional stay in central Kochkor”

Great stay, walking distance to the city centre. The area is very quiet. The bathroom and the room are super clean. The bed is very comfortable. The breakfast is very delicious and good amount of food. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. They allowed our rental car within the gates, where it was super safe. We absolute loved our stay here, would highly recommend.

“Lovely place to stay before our Son Kul trip”

A perfect place to stay before our hike to Son Kul. Very comfortable and a delicious breakfast. Our host was very kind, helped us organise transport and let us leave luggage while we were away. The guesthouse is very central too.

Bek was absolutely wonderful! He helped arrange us a driver for Song Kul lake, and was super lovely and helpful.he provided restaurant recommendations and was just super lovely. Highly recommend staying here!!

Bek and Bermet are very hospitable. We felt at home from the very beginning. We were upgraded to a double room since we're staying 3 nights in Kochkor. Breakfast was great, very filling. Bek guided us on a tour to the beautiful alpine lake of Song-Kul. We loved the whole experience of the road trip and the lake with its outstanding views. Bermet is very talented in making Shyrdak carpets and rugs together with other women in the village. Bek is a very kind man and always ready to answer any question or help in anyway he could. We highly recommend this place to all who want to have a base and discover the natural beauties around Kochkor.

Uz Anar is a beautiful new guesthouse in a perfect locafion in the center of town. It has comfortable rooms, clean beddings, ensuite bathrooms and a yummy breakfast is included. The best thing, however, are the lovely host family which made us feel right at home, helped with every issue, big or small, and shared so much about Kyrgyzstan and their unique culture. They both have great English, too! It was a pleasure to stay there, and we hope to be back soon. Thank you!

“Confortable and welcoming”

Uz-Anar is a five minute walk from the bus station, shops and restaurants and easy to get to. The hosts are warm, welcoming and helpful and they speak good English. Everything in the house is new. The room was comfortable, the shower had hot water and good wifi throughout the house. The breakfast was very good and they adapted it to our requests. There are tea, coffee and fruit always available in the dining room. One day there was a power surge and as a result a lightbulb went out, and our host changed it immediately. They also run an association of women that make and sell local products on the premises and can show you their beautiful products. They can put you in contact with guides for the treks in the area.
