Yo-san provides a great and homely place to stay for any one in Kobe. Beds and facilities are clean and well-taken care of. Common area is well-stocked with various maps, books, record player (love the event board which changes for the week). Nice spread for free breakfast daily + coffee/drinks. Highly recommended - perfect for both short and extended stays!

A house rule is really simple and I felt safe. An owner sometimes talked to me kindly. There is complemental breakfast. I stayed a couple of days so it was so useful. Totally here is a very clean hoatel and I highly recommend.

Yo The owner of the hostel is a super lovely guy, helping out with whatever he can - got two recommendations for food and places to go out to that were absolutely brilliant! Beds were comfy and the while place was always clean and tidy, definitely coming back when I get over to kobe again!

The host was extremely friendly and hospitable. You can tell how much he cares about creating a comfortable, cosy and welcoming guesthouse for backpackers. I would say that the level of comfort and attention to detail especially with the amenities would be on par with most high end hotels, so it was really appreciated and I hope to come back soon. :) The location was also great since I had an early flight from kansai airport and only needed to walk 10 minutes to catch the express bus.

“Excellent!”

The location was super! It was only a ~15min walk from Sannomiya Station in a quiet neighbourhood still close to the city center. Don't listen to Google this place is still open and it definitely exists. The host, Yo san is very kind, is able to speak English well, and even took me on a small trip to the Nunobiki waterfall. The bed was comfortable and we were provided with many convenient anemities, such as shampoo and body wash, a towel, ear plugs, indoor slippers, and water. The hostel was nice and clean and the common room was comfortable to sit in when the record player was on. This was also my first time staying at a hostel, and staying here has been a great first experience!
