The hostel is nice and clean. The location is perfect (quiet area, close to an onsen, 15min from the city center by train). And the people working here are super nice !

Very nice staff! The best ever in all the hostel I stayed Stayed in private room and it’s actually much more spacious than I thought. Would recommend for travelers that like the causal and local vibe.

This has been one of my favorite stays in Japan so far. It’s a really lovely and homey place, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the facilities are excellent, it’s a good location if you want to hike or visit Mt Maya. I stayed in the single room and loved it. I kept extending my stay because it was so good!

This place is amazing. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, everything is nice and clean and the beds are comfortable. I slept really well there and would highly recommend.

I normaly don't write reviews but here I must do.:-) I really enjoyed my stay at the Maya Guesthouse in Kōbe. Emi from the staff was very helpful in planning my days there and gave me also really good recommendations for a "vegetarian" food place called Hinoki, where you get delicious food. Also she knows a lot how to get around Kōbe. Emi was really nice and kind. Also I got the chance to speak with Haruto, who was also really nice and kind. I spend a good time at the Maya Guesthouse. The guesthouse is very comfortable and cozy, so you feel very fast at home. Also the beds were really comfortable, had good sleeps there.

staffs are friendly love its clean environment and creative designs and decos !! location is great ( not close to the touristy spots BUT is close two train stations!)

Rustic, cozy, well-kept and maintained. The staff here will make you feel right at home. Upon check-in I was given a full tour of the place. The beds are big and comfy, the roof is great; I always liked having a drink there by my lonesome every night. Special thanks to Yoppei-san, Kei-san, and Haruto-san :)

We had a great stay at Guesthouse Maya - thankyou. Staff were very helpful and friendly, the common area downstairs is a good place to sit and meet others or make a simple meal. Rooms are simple but clean. Stairs are steep, so not good for anyone infirm, but no problem for most. Would recommend a stay to others.
