We splurged for one night at this ryokan and - wow. Worth every penny. The private onsens were stunningly beautiful and romantic in the rain, you can book them for 45 minutes each and we did 2 out of 8, one indoor and one outdoor: your skin feels amazing after. The staff was lovely, spoke great English, and took care of us through and through: they picked us up at Arima Onsen station, recommended and booked a restaurant for us, drove us there and picked us up, and drove us to the bus the next morning! The room was just beautiful and the futon beds were so comfortable. Great amenities. The lobby has coffee, tea, soft drinks and ice cream available. I cannot recommend highly enough.

The service staff service was super. I'm very impressed. Also everything was very personal & private. I couldn't get a dinner reservation at the hotel restaurant as they are fully booked & they help me reserve dinner at another hotel. Super professional service, even providing complimentary transport to & from dinner place to their hotel. But we managed to get breakfast at their hotel & it was very good quality.

“Amazing onsen experience, would love to stay again”
Staff were super accommodating and did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. The shuttle service was very convenient and they arrived within minutes. Loved the private onsens for our group of 6, especially the outdoor onsens, picturesque and relaxing. We also had an onsen in our room. My kids loved that and jumped in multiple times a day. They definitely used it more than the private onsens that had to be booked. Kaiseki dinner was delicious with very fresh and seasonal ingredients. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Lovely room with traditional tatami. Staff made the futon beds for us. The breakfast was very varied and filling. The room’s outdoor bath was very nice with silver water, but they also allowed guests to reserve either of other 8 baths available. Shuttle to and from the accommodation was great.

The staff are amazing here. We came down for dinner at 7.20, the man at the desk recommended us 3 resterants, we picked one out. He made a reservation, ordered the shuttle service & we were the restaurant at 7.30! The spas are beautiful & clean, especially the outdoor ones!

Excellent experience in this hotel! Although not located in the town center, the hotel offers an excellent shuttle bus service.What we like most are the hotel's private hot springs. All four outdoor and four indoor hot springs are available by private reservation. Each section is in 45mins for one room. And it is easy to make the reservation

“Amazing experience”
Overall, an amazing experience for our short retreat from the concrete jungle of big cities of Japan. Already from the train station we could get a free shuttle bus to the hotel, where we met the loveliest staff which helped us with everything. The private onsen's are amazing and we used them multiple times during our stay. They were clean and had pretty small gardens with plants, trees, bamboo and cozy lightning in the dark hours. The hotel room was spacious and the futon beds were very comfortable. Overall, this exceeded our expectations and we'd like to revisit one day!
