We had a wonderful stay in a beautiful and peaceful setting. The host is incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive, going above and beyond to make sure every guest feels at home. My wife has several food allergies, and we were especially grateful that the meals were thoughtfully adapted to her needs. The food is truly something special: nearly all ingredients, both for breakfast and dinner, come either from the property’s own farm or from local farmers in the surrounding area. Breakfast is delicious, generous, and based on fresh seasonal and regional products. The three course dinner is equally outstanding and is an experience not to be missed. Places like this have become very rare. The combination of genuine hospitality, exceptional food, and a deep connection to the local region makes this a truly special place. “Peaceful Farm Stay with Stunning Mountain Views”

Tourist Farm Kobarid is a stunning and peaceful place to stay, set in a beautiful small farming village surrounded by breathtaking scenery. A car is definitely needed, but the relaxing atmosphere and incredible mountain views make it well worth it. The rooms were very comfortable and exceptionally clean, and the breakfast each morning was lovely. A perfect place to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of the area.

The food

Nestled in the Julian Alps, tourist farm Kranjc is an amazing place to base your Soca valley stay. Ursca and Irene are incredibly warm and accommodating hosts - they upgraded our room free of charge when circumstances prevented them from being able to offer dinner. The breakfast is delicious, and many, if not most, dishes are made from products from their own farm. The surroundings are beautiful, and there is a lot to explore in the area and in Kobarid. We will absolutely stay there again if we re ever in that part of the world again.

“Peaceful and quiet stay”

We had such a lovely time at Kranhc farm, it was our favourite stay in Slovenia. Our room had the most amazing views of the Soca Valley and surrounding mountains. Breakfast was delicious and varied with hot and cold options. We enjoyed the optional in-house evening dinner, which we highly recommend. They also have wine and draft beer for the dinner service. Most of all, the somewhat remote village was so peaceful and quiet. This also extends to the guests, who were all so respectful and considerate. The walk directly from the house to local waterfalls is also worth doing.

Wooden elements in the rooms and common areas were beautiful, breakfast and dinner were plentiful and very tasty. The views were beautiful.

“Relaxing and peaceful”

Breakfast and dinner was great. The hoste was very helpful. It was very peaceful and we really had a chance to relax.

Everything. Lovely location, delicious food, very comfortable room with a great balcony and view. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. We messed up and needed to push our reservation back two days at the last minute and this was no problem.

We arrived to a perfectly clean and spacious room. The Tourist Farm is located in a rather remote village but is easily accessible by motorcycle or car. The parking is on premise. We ate dinner twice at the Tourist Farm because it was so good. Can only recommend, very friendly people!

Such a beautiful, cosy place with the most friendly staff and super delicious food! The rooms are very clean and the bed is comfortable. Such an amazing place to stay while hiking the AAT…and in general :) we had the best time there! Thank you!

“Calm place for a nice holiday surrounded by lovely nature.”

The location was nice, in a small village surrounded by mountains. The view from the room was also beautiful. The breakfast and the dinner was both very tasty, from local ingredients. Hosts were super nice and helpful.

Staff is absolutely amazing! Also breakfast and dinner were perfect, they are using all domestic ingredients.

Beautifull place: silence and fresh air, meadows and cats and amazing hills around us - in one word: it's a dream.

Also very accommodating for any dietary restrictions. + Food: Rich breakfast buffet sourced straight from the garden. Great range of veggie and vegan options. Set dinner for 20€ also homemade and great. + Location: great location to start day trips from or even some hikes that start right in the village.
