“Nice little hostel in Kobarid”

The location is great and it has everything one would need. Great price/quality ratio. It was also easy to store my bike safely.

It was the best hostel I stayed in in Slovenia. It is very good value for money and was the perfect stop for my hiking trip. If you are doing the Juliana trail or Alpe Adria Trail, I would recommend to stay here. The kitchen is good equipped, there is an amazing terrace (walk up the stairs) to rest after a full day of hiking. The dorms have big lockers, curtains a plug right next to your bed. If you are remote working like me, the kitchen was an ideal place to work. Bus stop and super market are close by.

“The perfect place to stay in Kobarid”

This is the best hostel I ever stayed at, twice! The host Anna is super friendly and helpful, as well before and after, as during our stay. The facilities are super good. A big kitchen where we cooked a lovely breakfast, clean and big bathrooms and toilets, and very spacious dormrooms. Every bed had his own curtain for privacy, lockers are included, and every bunk has a light and powerplug to charge your devises. And last but not least, the outside areas are very beautiful. You have multiple terraces that look over Kobarid and into the valley with an amazing sunset. I will be coming back to this place many times again in the future.

One of the nicest hostels, I have ever been to. Highly recommended.

“Lots of hassle and trouble for simple requests.”

There was no in person check in and passport had to be uploaded or sent via messaging. Not the most secure way to transfer sensitive information. Reception was unstaffed the entire time. Had to message back and forth with the owner to turn on the air conditioner even when it was still hot in August. There was no control of the AC in the room, had to WhatsApp them. They said that it was “cool” in August so refused to turn on the AC and asked for the windows to be opened instead. Only after multiple people in the room asked did they relent. Would not say that this qualifies as “premium” as the name suggests. I think 5/10 is fair and not overly harsh.

The hostel was very clean and looked exactly like the pictures. You could wash clothes for 5€ and dry for €5.

Facilities and rooms are great. There are also amazing places above the hostel to walk up to, to have a coffee or eat a meal, which is on the property.

Incredible and nice property with cooking equipment and a beautiful garden area

This place is gorgeous. The rooms, in which we sleept felt like a mountain hut. They have an outstanding garden in the backyard, where you could sit on terraces, having your own space and having a nice view over the town. The kitchen has all you want. For parking leave your car near the local supermarket, which is a 5 mins walk.

“Smart hostel in centre.”

We stayed one night in Kobarid on the Juliana Trail. Hostel is centrally located so we walked right up to it, its close to the centre square with excellent restaurant Kotlar, and other choices. Walk of Peace centre and museum nearby. Very white and freshly appointed. Bunks good with lights, power, wifi and curtains, lockable drawers. Bathrooms clean, spacious, hot showers. Kitchen also large, well equipped. Rested well and good to go next morning.

We spent two nights. We stayed at the room with three other couples. We had a double bed and it was very comfortable. The space arrangement is really good, so you can feel a high level of privacy (there are some curtains if you want to use). The place was super clean during the whole day (toilets, bathroom, kitchen, beds). You can use the kitchen to prepare your meals -very organized and equipped. We loved the upper terraces, they had a beautiful view and they very relaxing. We enjoyed spending time there in the early evening. The hosts were very kind and helpful with everything. We asked for some tips and they gave us with pleasure some really good recommendations. We also went paragliding in the Kobarid valley with our host, who is a very experienced guide. It was a safe, unforgettable experience that we truly enjoyed. It’s really a nice location. Kobarid is a peaceful city. You can enjoy a lot of trails close to the area. It is very close to Bovec if you are interested to have some activities like rafting, canoeing etc and it is also very close to Italy if you want to go for a walk (20 minutes). R

“An excellent, central hostel in peaceful Kobarid”

The staff are lovely and friendly. The hostel itself is brilliantly designed for travellers and has a very well-equipped, stylish kitchen. The 8-bed dorm room is very spacious and bright - each bunk bed has a curtain for privacy, a plug, reading light, and a locker beneath it which is so handy. And make sure to enjoy the beautiful, mossy terraces in the garden which look out over the valley and the church tower. I wish I had booked another night. Thank you :)

Very central location, opposite the museum. Spacious common room and well-equipped kitchen. Absolutely amazing multi-level garden with chairs and tables. There is enough space to hang and dry clothes. In the dormitory, every bed has a curtain — it's very pleasant.

Really nice hostel, well equipped, clean, and tidy in the centre of Kobarid.
