“Fantastic Place To Stay”

We liked everything about Jelenov breg pod Matajurem. The location was amazing, the fact that it's a working, family-run farm, it even has its own restaurant where everything comes either from the farm or the local area, the family are great. We loved it!

Amazing people! The family running it is so lovely, couldn't have asked for a better experience! Amazing food, beautiful views and great people, what more can you ask for!?

We loved staying here. The location is beautiful in the mountains. The food was excellent and Tina was so kind to take into consideration the dietary restrictions of our 1,5 year old. Perfect place for families with toys and animals to enjoy.

“Nice cottage in mountain village”

Nice cottage in a small mountain village, magnificiant views, well equipped, homemade breakfast. We enjoyed also dinner served by hosts, it was very delicious and price reasonable. Very friendly and helpfull staff, feeling like home.

Beautiful farm, very good accommodation, delicious dinner and very kind staff

The friendlyness of the hosts, the wunderful view, The delicious handmade food from their farm. Its also good licated for many different activities like hiking, rafting ... at soca river but you definitiv need a car to get around. Its also great for kids, as they have a lot of animals on the farm. I liked it a lot and want to come again next year. Thank you so much for the nice stay :)

This is a gem for anyone planinng on staying in Kobarid. The family run farm stay is magical. From the hosts, to the animals, to the food, the atmosphere and the location. Our room was perfect, simple, comfortable and with good facilities. The meals were cosy, local seasonal and home made. We really can't wait to go back next year.

Very relaxed atmosphere. Family running the apartment is really relaxed and just down to earth people enjoying to lay jou take part of their life and surroundings. Breakfast was good with many local produce Dinner was very diverse you can decide every day if you want to go for the full 5 course dinner or skip parts of this. A very quiet and peaceful place located in a beautiful area. Fairly close to hiking trails. The property is managed by two generations of the same family. The hosts are very kind, polite, open, and helpful. The food served is homemade, mostly prepared with ingredients grown by the owners. I would be happy to return there.

This farm, located in the mountains, offers incredible views over the Soca region. We stayed in the glamping area next to the deer. The accommodation was typical and clean. We were lucky enough to have a guided tour of the farm and to taste their delicious products at breakfast and dinner. The owners are very friendly, attentive, and eager to ensure our satisfaction. A place surrounded by nature and beyond time that we recommend without hesitation."

“Must stay”

The hosts were the most lovely people ever. It is a family run business and they have designed the place magically. They have cool old paraphernalia from World War 1 as the location of the pods are where battles took place. The meal we had there was to die for and reasonably priced. It is the only restaurant in town but it was made all from local produce and it was a 5 course meal.

We stayed here for one night with a group of eight students and two teachers. The location is wonderful and the view is beautiful. But the most beautiful part of our visit were Aljosa and his Mrs. We were touched so much by their hospitality and friendliness. We have never met hosts that are so friendly and nice.

“A unforgettable farm stay”

The meals served were excellent. It's home cooked food with love, extraordinary fresh and let us have a good feel of what traditional Slovenian food is. The friendly and thoughtful host also gave us a very good recommendations to visit Tolmin Gorges (which we went after check out and it was definitely a worthwhile visit)
